No. I'm stubborn like that - wasn't sure about DA3 before this debacle and now they proved once again they just can't deliver the quality they used to. Too much money and corporate BS involved these days.
Greener fields, here I come!
Will you ever buy another bioware product if there's no ending DLC?

It isnt just the end though, they falsly advertised a product and they owe us what they promised, as a professional company they should know betterR Rarzy wrote...
Of course I will. I love Mass Effect and I'm not going to just stop liking it because of how the end of one game turns out. That is ridiculous.
This. People trolling this thread and trying to mock people for asking a company to keep its promises either a.) miss the point, or b.) really crave attention that they're not getting elsewhere (or c.) all of the above).
There are people who act foolishly on either side of the coin, but that is no excuse to perpetuate the foolishness.
When someone lies to you, it is up to you to decide whether you want to forgive and/or forget. Having a history of being honest, and then telling one lie can easily ruin credibility -- trust is hard to earn, and easy to lose; it is much easier to destroy than to create.
Take it as you will. For me, BioWare living up to its promises is a step in the right direction, and anything less means that I will not purchase anything from the company in the future.

Personally, I'm more of a Fantasy RPG fan and I bought ME back in '07 largely because of my great experience with BG/BGII/NWN... and I was pretty happy with 99% of the ME series.
Really, it was just the rotten ending.
All that said, I will NEVER, EVER buy another Mass Effect product from Bioware/EA unless they change the ending.
I might buy another Fantasy RPG, like DAIII or something, but not an ME product. The first new DLC Bioware should release is a revised ending DLC. Anything else they release until that's fixed is just going to get trashed by the community...
...or they can just patch the existing game and make it like the faux-artistic ending never existed.

Over ten years ago I swore I'd never buy another game published by EA. Then they bought Bioware as Mass Effect was coming out, and I caved. Five years later, here I am. So your questions is inappropriate. It should be: "Will you ever buy another EA game if there's no ending DLC?"
No.
No.

Probably not.... after pre-ordering DA2, which was a disappointment and didn't live up to DA:O but very oddly had a better ending than ME3. Also the black emporium was kinda useless.
Two problems with ME3, or at least the pre-ordering part/release. The issues with day-1 DLC and the fact that having an online pass for multiplayer meant no free DLC -- despite the fact that there is no online pass for PC games.
As well as just the ending of ME3 and the many, many plotholes...

There will always be a hesitation before I buy another EA game. Should I wait for the price to drop so I can afford the DLC? Does not have to be limited to BioWare. I still feel that EA is largely responsible for this fiasco.

You could also add the list of lies that they said before release, and NOT ONCE revoked.Grimskull89 wrote...
