True but with DA2 and now the ME3 endings idk, i mean why no wait instead all your losing out on are crappy pre order items that will be dlc 5 months later

I can't speak for OhoniX, but I know that if I listened to the fans and not bought Mass Effect 3, that I'd have missed out on some of the best stuff in the series. So many reat emotional moments (Mordin, Anderson, Liara and her mesage, the Genophage, Rannoch). Goodbyes to good friends. Some epic fights. The best combat in the series.

Sorry they screwed up the ending, but that doesn't get rid of the rest.

Agreed. 30 of the best hours I have had playing a game does not get ruined by 10 minutes of sadness.

Lucky you - the hundreds of hours for ME series does get ruined by 10 minutes of terrible ending for me.
And combine it with DA2 and a quite visible trend seems to have emerged from Bioware.

I don't plan on it. Bioware's quality has been steadily going downhill and feeling more and more rushed, while their disconnect from their fanbase and reliance on hype and pre-orders has been steadily increasing. It's not the same company it use to be.

Just my feelings.

I will be judging games on themselfs, so I will be buying other BioWare games IF they don't give us another ending...

BUT there is always a but:
For me, The Mass Effect Saga is dead, until the Ending is patched, repaired, exchanged... so I will not buy any single DLC for THIS game, until they they release proper endings...

I have to add... that DA2 got the same treatment from me (but DA2 was overall medicore)... after finishing the game once, I did not purchase any DLC... although I had almost all DLC for DA1...

Based on the free swtor weekends... I am planning on buying TOR once I finish replaying KOTOR 1 & 2...

No more pre-orders for sure! If they don't fix the ending in an acceptable way then I won't buy anything related to ME again.

As for other releases: it very much depends on the quality of the product and how people (fans and not professional rewievers) react to it.

So I take the sceptical and careful approach next time.

Yes, but i will read more about it and not just buy because Bioware HAD a perfect record of awesome games, and its mostly because of DA2 and not the ME3 ending. Bioware still make good games, but we have been spoiled with a decade with some of the greatest RPGS ever. Since Baldurs Gate I bought every single game/expansion included the NWN/DA DLC(not included the Sonic game on DS) and while I didn't always love every part of the game there where always something. NWN hada pretty awful campain, but that game was saved with the toolset and DM-tools. But Dragon Age 2 is the first game I have not played twice. I have honestly not even finised it once, and probably never will. Havn't toched it since the week after it was released. I will probably play ME3 again, even if DLC does not fix the ending.

But the end is truly abysmal, not just for the stupidity of Starchid but mostly since we get no closure for most charachter.

It would really depend. If it's a game that really interests me I probably would. But I would also wait a few days to see whether they dropped the ball again. And even then I would be far more hesitant. I liked a lot of Bioware's games. But these endings... I'm not going to -just- trust Bioware again...

No, i already gave in with all the ORIGIN bull****.

I have it installed for ME3 and battlefield 3 and would rather use steam to a have a central hub for my games library. So either give me a decent ending or i will never buy a Bioware game again.


Coming from a loyal fan who played EVERY SINGLE BIOWARE GAME after Baldur's gate 2.
