I sure hope, the people posting here, really mean it. Bioware should feel the damage they caused.

If their next product offers enough bang for my bucks, I don't see why not.

Then again, I've only pre-ordered a game once and very rarely buy on release day - so I generally have plenty of time to make up my mind.

Yes, not only their new product but their entire business, I'll take Bioware from EA's claws and deliver open source ME games so all the comunity can participate and mod the game.

But there's still some issues to take care of... like getting the money...

In all honesty, ME3 left me really confused about how to feel about BioWare. The first 98% of the game feels like it was written by a master storyteller with their finger firmly on the pulse of the fanbase. The last 2% feels like it was written by someone who doesn't even know what "the pulse of the fanbase" is, let alone how to find it and create a product which satisfies it.

It's as though whatever master was at the helm of the story for most of the game was struck with a lightning bolt of brain cancer during the last hour's worth of writing content.

This frightens me. Are other BioWare devs safe from the brain cancer? Can it strike at any time? Can it hit anyone? Are they researching how to protect their people from this? How do I know that the next game I buy will be safe from brain cancer lightning bolts? Now I'm paranoid. And jumpy. And wary. Can't trust the BioWare logo anymore. Can't trust it. Brain cancer writing, could ambush me at any time. Any time.

Nope. I want to continue in the Dragon Age universe, but after seeing the travesty here that is ME3's end and the response from the company that produced it, I'm afraid that they will not be capable of producing a good, well thought out ending or to be trusted to do right by their fans.

Even if they fix the endings, I'll still never pre-order from them again. Fool me once, shame on... shame on me. Fool me.... aint gonna get fooled again

So true. I loved so much of Mass Effect 3, the vast majority of the game was great. Unfortunately, the 2% that stunk was the most critical part of the whole thing. I will say I'm a little worried with the way Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 have ended so I likely won't rush to preorder ever BioWare game like I usually do.

1 not if it's a trilogy
2 not if emotional investment is required
3 NEVER without full spoilers

ME3 related products, certainly not. Preorder, certainly not. Collector's Editions, certainly not. Other than that, it would depend on the game, and fan reviews.

Hell no. Won't buy anything EA either if I can avoid it( unfortunately this is unlikely, since EA makes half of pc games).

Personally, probably not seeing as how the ME series was really good, up until the last 10 minutes. I gotta say though, to completely contradict an entire series and leave one of the greatest controversies in video game histories, they did pretty damn good.

What about Command and Conquer? :o

Anything EA, I will pass on in the future. Madden has pissed me off enough over the years and I always give them second chances, but now, with ME? Crossed the line totally and I'm done. If I want sports, I will stick to 2k Baseketball and for RPG, I'll stick with Bethesda or anything other than fracking EA.

Nope. I had warm, fuzzy feelings until the ending. Then, they went up in the relays exploding. I will be more cautious with my money from here on out.

Probably not, but only because they're nothing really interesting. (possibly Dragon Age 3, depending on how I like 2) Hating an ending for one good game isn't going to prevent me from buying another good game from the same company.

This is the last straw for me. Regardless of the DLC, I have no more faith in BioWare. It's not a matter of "no, I won't buy another BioWare game"...it's a matter of losing that faith. I don't trust them, unconditionally, the way I used to back in 2009 and before.

Pinnacle Station was a foul ball. I won't count it against them, because they didn't make it...but it was released under the guise of it being their own creation. It wasn't terrible, but it took over a year to create after BDtS, and almost 2 years after the game was released?
ME2 was, to me, the first real strike. The story telling and RPG elements took a back seat to mindless, corridor shooting. By no means a bad game, but far from the promise brought forth by the first game.
DA2 was the 2nd strike. It was redundant, annoying...I had no idea what I was doing or why I was doing it for 80% of the game, and had no clear goal. If I wanted that...I wouldn't be playing video games. I actually didn't hate the game, but it was kind of insulting after DAO.
This whole ME3 debacle is strike 3. And not just the ending...large portions of the game made me kinda angry...the first 10 hours or so I was not amused.

Mass Effect 3, if they fix the ending, might even be my GOTY. However...my faith is shattered, and I can no longer believe in BioWare the way I used to.

This is what I was going to type.

No. I will not. Not only that, but this whole ordeal has opened my eyes to caring what sort of gaming company I want to support and allow to thrive. Mass Effect was really the only game I was brand loyal to, so from now on it will be easy to not purchase games unless they are from a company that cares about pleasing their core fans, and values a quality product above a quick profit. It will be best for everyone if that is the sort of company that does well.

I don’t know. The ending of ME3 has severely damaged my trust in Bioware to develop the type of game I’m looking for. If they don’t release a proper ending DLC then they would have to create something outstanding to regain that trust. I certainly wouldn’t preorder nor believe any reviewer that the game is good, so all that would be left would be word of mouth.
