I let him live. Is there any bonus to killing him? Seems like when I kill somebody (Ruck in the Cave) they have a purpose that I missed out on. I've done all the Crows jobs.

hmm, I just killed him. I wanted the challenge (and don't need him putting a hit on me- a bit of RP)
But it looks like I may have missed out on any items Cesar would sell me. As he disappeared. And he had crap gear on him too. Kind of a waste. 111 xp btw.

One thing good about killing him is that you got to hear the great voice acting of: 'I really hoped you don't do it!' (Not the exact same wording) and then KA-BOOM, 2 weapons pop out of his back.

What 2 weapons? Damn I should have killed his ****.

I killed him. It was about time someone from the Antivan Crows paid for trying to assassinate me.

Well if you kill him straight away you miss out on 4 quests, 1 vote for the Landsmeet, everything Cesar has to sell (mostly posion recipes) and probably the best rogue gloves in the game.
Quite trade eh?

In the final quest you have to kill some Howe's men involved in kidnapping of some nobleman's son. Eventhough you never get to see the kid and suspect there might have been some dodgy bussiness involved Ignacio says you'll see for yourself soon enough.
And then there's a noble in the Landsmeet that wasn't there on my first playthrough where I didn't bother with these quests that votes "For the Warden because she personally helped me on family matter"

Is there any way to get him to re-appear if I turned him down the first time? I had this ridiculous idea that, as a Grey Warden, I wouldn't go around assassinating random people. But now I wish I could have done the quests.

Right, for doing his quests you get an extra Landsmeet vote. All you are doing is killing Loghain's toadies so there's really no reason NOT to do his missions.
As for killing him after... crap xp and loot, and in poor taste imho.

Don't forget the rogue gloves as the final reward. Red Jenny Seekers. And I didn't kill him -- I thought he was ok.

Ahem, well the thing is Ignacio is not the one handling the contract on you. Your beef should be with the Crow master who actually took it on, but then I'm pragmatic (even though I'm mostly a do-gooder).

Well, I knew that there was def. two sides of this story that I had to read up on. So, after beating the Howe thugs, I chose to save and run the playthroughs. I killed him on the first time (just for s**ts and giggles), then saved it on a new save "Killed The Crows"; Yeah, a bad title, as they are a great band (off-topic [ADD!]... edit: The Black Crows for those of you who should but don't know) and Ignacio was just doing his job.
But then I reloaded and kept him alive, checked Cesar's stock for any extraordinary goods (IMO none really), and found the only real diff. between immediate results is about 2 1/2 gold, xp. and Cesar. Now from the other posts, apparently I should keep him alive...
So time to reload his Antivan head from my electrical shock bible (my HDD)! LOL!

Cesar is the only one I know of that sells a Grand Master Magic resistance rune (10%).

Cesar has the Master Dweomer Rune and the First Enchanter Robes (which are the highest +defence robes a mage can get if they aren't Morrigan). I don't any of his other stuff is really great, well he has the concentrated crow poison recipe which is one of the best poisons.
But you don't get much for killing Ignacio, about 200 xp (from him and the two thugs) a tier 1 dagger and some clothing. He is probably the toughest rogue enemy in the game (he doesn't have the support that Jarvia does, but he puts up more a fight than she does), so it is a fun fight. I like to kill him and then reload and let him live.

You should advance Zevran's personal plot then and kill Taliesen, the Crow who actually accepted the hit on you. Ignacio has nothing to do with it.
