I see where you are getting and you only prove that MMO CANNOT be a good RPG, nor the other way around.

People said that computers couldn't do good RPGs 20 years ago. Time will prove you wrong.

Actually as I stated in another thread. I wouldn't want to see this as a MMO. While I would like to have MP capability with it, just more on either Persistent World or Campaigned Servers. Just not as an MMO.

I'm going to say negative on the DA MMO idea. Why does everything need to be an MMO now?

Seriously, why? I just don't get it, I've played them for over a decade and see no reason for every game to be one.

I know Bioware won't be stupid enough to make an MMO in this mmo market. Why should every game be turned into mmo anyway? There are more than enough of those as is. I think single player games + constant dlcs are the winning combination for Bioware. What they can do with DA and ME works so well because those are single player games. MMOs nowadays are fluff when it comes to story and immersion. The reason I still spend 100$+ on something like DA (collector's edition+dlc+books) is because I know story will be amazing, the game will go at my pace, the game depends on ME! In mmo you are a nobody and the whole concept is based on repetition/reward. RPG and MMORPG are completely different genres to me, one is about story/adventure/immersion, the other one is about socializing/repetition/rewards. Nothing wrong with either one but there is a huge shortage of good RPGs and way too many mmorpgs.

I am too educated and I respect myself too much to share anything with a bunch of "zomg lewt" powergaming boys. My definition of online play stops at real time strategy games where you do not have to talk to anyone. Just get in the virtual arena, do your best according to SKILL and try to win the match. Plus I do not want to be in need of anybody (I am referring to elitist guilds ) to see the entire content of a game that I bought.
Enough said.

This.
I would share my game with few special people and thats it. I see no reason to be forced to play with bunch of badly raised kids that seem to be floading MMOs nowdays.
