I was unsure which forum to place this in but anyways.
Having just seen some screens from the upcoming Return to Ostagar DLC, I have noticed yet again, a reskin of a weapon and armour previously in-game. I know this is being slightly picky but I would happily pay for a DLC containing new weapons & armours, eg. not just reskins. I also don't just mean a few new swords etc. but brand new weapons like Pole-Arms, Halberds. I'm sure some mages out there would have liked a staff to fight with no? Don't get me wrong, I love all the current weapon and armour styles, but I feel they lacked diversity, bar the uniques and even those were just re-skins, albeit very pretty re-skins. Considering they are planning on 2 more years of DLC I can only hope that ideas like this might be taken note of.
Anyways, just wondering what everyone else thought.

They'd probably will add new armor and weapon models, but asset creation takes time.

They'd have to model and texture armor for six different player models (and then for the party members that could use them i suppose), then make them look all nice and shiny and "Omg, loot me please".

I'd happily pay right now if they upgrade existing armors to allow 3 to 5 slots enchanting runes. I mean, its kinda obvious both the Hale and Magic Resistance runes were meant for armor more then on weapons. Throw in HP, Mana, Stamina, elemental and or more radical enhancements such as reflective damage or class restriction enhancements and we'll be wallowing in crafting haven.

I remembered another thing that caused me to wonder. It was the CGI Warden's armour from the trailers. I can remember seeing it and just thinking wow. I need his stuff. I think it's the same armour set from the box art on the front, along with a concept of Morrigan. However, I don't think the actual armour is included in the game. I would pay for that gear. Pay good money. C'mon BioWare. There's a nice little opportunity arising here... ;)
