Is quite easy to make us happy:
-More variation to endings. Possible happy ending (hard to get), a little epilogue for relevant characters, even secondary like DAO. Bailey, Hackett, teammates... and a little one video with Love Interest (when possible)
-No Mass Relays desctruction
-Little Battle Saren-Like. See what happens to harbringer.
-Remove reasons for "reaping" the galaxy. They are eternal. No reason needed.
-All these can be included under indoc theory.
Think that the ending is sensless at the point the Harbinger "let sheppard live". Is his arch-enemy, and the Harb is a million-year old killing machine. He knows how to do his work. Normandy saving sheppard? Fine.
Even two squadmates killed? not fine, but logic.
You only have to take it, is at your hand. You only have to say "it was player indoctrination", and you will make history as the greatest sci-fi makers of all history...
