Something I'd like Mr Stanley Woo or other BW rep to see.

I do sympathise with the Moderators. At the end of the day, most of them are Q&A guys that didn't have a hand in the ending at all. Yes, his fuse was pretty short in those comments, but I guess mine would be if I tried to do something different and got this kind of a response, and the response has been incessant, there really is only so much bashing someone can take before they have to vent somewhere - it's human nature.

I think what Mr Woo meant regarding the "simplifying the endings" comment was that we're meant to take in the grand nature of what each of the 3 choices means. We've spent countless hours familiarising ourselves with this universe and growing to love each and every one of its characters (with few exceptions). Therefore we really need to stop for a moment and think about the meaning behind the RGB choices.

We've brought the Geth civilisation from outcast nemesis through to noble companions, do we really want to throw all that hard work out of the window just to ensure our organic companions can survive? It's meant to be about the tough decisions.

Before I get flamed to death for this, i'm not suggesting the endings weren't bad or poorly executed, or not riddled with plot holes - they were. I'm just trying to balance out the notion made by Stanley that it's more the implications of the choices we made, rather than the colour of the explosion behind it.

Flame on lol

SMH...

that was not the way to handle the situation.. the person was not being rude.  The endings are the single most un-creative thing I have seen in while on some many levels. Lets call a spade, a spade. Bioware needs to learn how to deal with criticism because that response came of as out right childish.

Not trolling eh? Yet we all are acting in this way according to you..   right.

The OP is acting like a jerk and dredging up dead things that should stay dead. He and a few other clowns in this thread do not not represent the majority of the retake movement.

I meant in this thread. Maybe I needed to clarify a bit more. I didn't mean RTME as a whole.

yeah, saw that my bad.

Why don't you kick them out if they badly represent your group?

You know aswell as I do that we don't have members, so we can't kick anything out of anything. The policy of the facebook group as stated on the page is to stay polite and on topic.

I and others can't help it if someone just slaps on a label in their signature and starts flaming away anyway, but they are not following the line of the group. The best I can do sadly.

I can confirm that HenchxNarf is a perfectly reasonable poster if you treat him with the respect that you would wish to be treated.

Is it bad I hope the trolling continues so that a Bioware posters comes in here and might see my question?

I am sorry, I didnt realize that this "group" was for invited members only with the president-elect having power to kick out anyone he wants based on his liking.

Be nice if everyone was like that, having debates on hypothetical situations is fun until trolling ruins it.

Well I think it's meaningless to link and try and explain why we hate the endings. As they said they read the forum, analyze etc etc. They DO know what we think.

Stanley Woo is a good guy. He has been kind and supportive to the RTM fans. If you say vulgar things to someone, they're going to react in a vulgar way just as you did. Be civil and be reasonable. You're only losing credibility by acting in that fashion, and you damage what strong relationship we have with them.

No! The longer the thread goes, the higher chance it has of a Bioware poster answering my question. I really don't want to have to go bug one of the writers on Twitter, especially seeing as I don't have a Twitter account...

These forums could do with less pointless threads like this. Seriously, I don't even care if you agree or disagree whether the ending is good or bad. Let the professionals work and stop "demanding" and "feeling insulted".

Personally, I have no problem with Mr. Woo's statement. You try keeping your hand in a beehive without cursing. It's not personal, and didn't interpret that post as if he feels like we're idiots. He was defending his colleagues in an unnecessarily strong way.

Of course, it wasn't really smart of him to reply that way, but I'm willing to forgive. Some of the people here have been downright rude or petty.

EDIT: Bioware doesn't think we're idiots. One employee made a strong comment, don't be so vulnerable. If you are like that every day, life must suck.

Hold the line Image IPB

A lapse in judgement, nothing too serious. Obviously he was thinking these things, and that's obviously fine, but I suppose it wasn't wise to express them in a professional and public capacity.

"I was under the impression that BioWare was populated with
talented, creative individuals"

Im really starting to get tired of all the self-praise from Bioware staff.

In fairness if they weren't talented, creative individuals then you wouldn't care enough to be on the forums at all. They created a spectacular universe and three brilliant games, it just went horribly wrong at the end. They have every right to be proud of the things they did so well.

The only problem I find with the self praise is that it seems to come at unfortunate times and they focus on the wrong things. Like when Dr Ray pointed out the positive review scores, I thought he would have been better served talking about how passionate the fans are about the product they created and how proud they are that their universe has touched people so much rather than talking about reviews which alot of people don't trust.

This is being brought up again, why? I feel like people are just starting threads with topics that have already been discussed (and in this case, closed - or so I had hoped) for the sole reason of stirring up more unnecessary drama.

Stanley Woo, at the very least, has been popping in regularly to answer questions. Sure, some of his responses can be dissected as not being entirely tactful in some instances; but then again, people aren't exactly being respectful toward both CM's and each other right now. I'd just be glad if everyone could take a deep breath and calm down - and then debate in a rational manner rather than attacking opposing opinions for the sake of well... venting. /end rant

Not really, the forums shouldn't be a place where people are allowed to attack each other. It's a priviledge to post here, if you want to attack anyone there's places like 4chan.
