Aside from possibly not wanting to discuss it if it's contractual, why is it so hard to ask nicely?  Just look at the title and OP: snark, speculation, and aggressive.  The way arguements are phrased matters.

How many times does one have to ask nicely to get an answer. Personally I have been nothing but nice i this thread, even after being called fanboy and whatever else.

You have been nice.  But read the title of the thread.  Sounds like a brat.  Why would that tone deserve an answer?

edit: I mean, this goes for the *multiple* threads about the unlock system.  Brats.

And in the us harassment in the Internet is illegal... :police:

asking bioware the same question over and over and over isn't exactly nice. Especially when there are 2 other companies involved. sounds more like harassment.

How do you know this for sure. Yes it seems like they have all the info they need. yes I read your previous posts. No you can't state that as fact because you don't work for bioware and you don't work for sony. you have no clue what is needed to make this event work so please stop acting like you do.

Yes you PS3 players are missing out on events. Yes I understand you are angry. No I don't agree it's likely all bioware's fault.

You will probably find more answers putting pressure on your console's manufacturer. You might have a decent chance finding the truth if you band together and put pressure on EA. Bioware has likely said all they are allowed to say so you likely won't hear more until you start pushing in other directions.

Repeating this type of thread over and over probably won't get you answers that's all I am saying.

No one asked for the brigade of jacktards to come on here and start debunking, ridiculing, taunting, and ejaculating their mind semen all over the ****ing place.

Remember, in order to make changes of this nature it has to approved by the company through whom the service is provided. In this case, it is the PSN run by Sony. There is likely a hinderance that prevents them from rapidly approving alternations to the service provided to accommodate weekly events.

I have seen that, and it doesn't jive. They can track our promotions, so what does that have to do with Sony? Do you honestly believe Sony is saying, "NO FREE EVENTS FOR OUR USERS!"
@wolf- You act like Microsoft exclusivity deals are unheard of.

No I don't believe Sony is saying no free events for our users, but I do believe Sony has privacy policies that are making it hard for Bioware to do events for PS3 users.

By your logic, do you honestly believe Bioware is saying, "NO FREE EVENTS FOR OUR PS3 USERS EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO PROVIDE THEM!" How does it benefit Bioware to exclude a portion of their customers and why would they do that by choice?

I don't know for sure and I wil never know unless Bioware / EA come out with an official statement, until then i have to apply logic which is as follows:

- There is a statement that due to Technical Limitations it's not possible to include PS3
- The event relates to promotions.
- The event requires to know that your promote in order to award you.
- The Bioware site has a record of  your war assets status.
- The Bioware site has a record of your promotions.

Logic applied, Bioware can see that you promote, and has it on record.

Let me be perfectly clear, i do not pretend to know anything, but as a consumer I am asking the developer of the product that i bought to explain to me why the product that i bought of them through a retailer does not work for certain events. If at any stage that same developer tells me what the issue is and clearly provides something that indicates the issue to be on the PSN network I will gladly take that question away to the Network provider.

Until then, my issue is with the developer of the game that indicates the issue as a Technical Limitation.

Yes I can read and comprehend. You are loud and clear. I guess I am not being clear enough. I'll try again.

Bioware hears your issue (multiple treads worth of complaining) they have given an answer (crappy answer but still an answer).

Has Sony heard your complaints? My guess would be no since they havn't made a statement on the issue. Logic would dictate that your time would be better spent making sure sony is fully aware of the issue.

if there are only 5 people complaining to sony they won't see it as a big deal. if everyone who has this problem starts bugging sony then obviously they will understand the magnitude of the problem.

The problem is every PS3 owner that bought ME3 seems convinced it's a Bioware problem. So unless Sony is checking out the bioware social network they arn't going to know how many PS3 owners are angry with this situation.

you have a statement form one company now go get the other side of the story. posting on here over and over is a waste of your efforts. you are all beating a dead horse right now.

This is my thread now. Go find another one to live in. I would ask a moderator to please lock it so we PS3 users could start a new one without the pages and pages of bull****, but they don't seem to come around too often, and I fear that any thread about the ps3 getting shafted would still attract you and your ilk. Thanks for usings hundreds, if not thousands of words, arguing about why a customer who is being shafted is complaining about it wrong, or something. Whatever your point is, if indeed you even have one besides the need to post in threads that have

At first Bioware said Technical limitation. But the developer has since stated they are "working with Sony" to solve the issue. why are all PS3 owners so against taking this problem up with sony? If you are all waiting for bioware to directally point a finger at sony it's not going to happen. As someone stated in this thread Bioware and Sony are business partners at this point so they arn't going to easily badmouth each other. In fact Bioware's current statement is likely enough to make sony raise an eyebrow a little. Obviously Sony has not made a statement yet because all you PS3 owners are doing a fantastic job of disregarding Bioware's answer to your incredibly redundant questions.

Multiplayer thread has everything to do with others. No matter what platform.

Excuses I have seen here to blame bioware are all ms paid them to exclude ps3. That's a bribe on a service and is illegal. Bioware is trollin. Yes bioware is trolling on community because? They are bored right? Among other things. I went to the ps3 forums difficult to navigate... But I did not see anything there on this subject. Maybe post there instead of here? Just saying. Also aliens, 9/11, pearl harbor, terrorists, JFK and the Russians.

This thread makes my head hurt. In fact every thread in which PS3 users attempt to explain their frustrations and search for salient answers makes my head hurt.

There are 2 types of post that should be present in this thread:

1/ Posts from PS3 users concerning the fact they are being provided with an inferior experience to their 360/PC gaming counterparts who (rightfully) feel that they need to express their discontent, and

2/ Responses from people who can shed light on the problems and level with the PS3 community as to what the issues are and when they anticipate them being resolved. In other words, BioWare employees who KNOW what is going on.

Posts that offer nothing but speculation, conjecture and varying degrees of ridicule are completely wasted here. Why even bother? Personally, I'm not asking for a fix or for us to be involved in these events, although that is the long-term goal. Rather, I just want a little transparency so we know where we stand. That is why I continue to post in these threads - I hope that if BioWare see enough of us they might be reasonable and open up something of a dialogue before they end up alienating a significant portion of their fanbase. Anything that doesn't contribute to this end is just a waste of space on this thread IMHO.

Also, and I know I'm guilty of doing exactly what I asked people not to do here, but I did contact Sony. Twice. The response I got the first time was that Sony had no idea what I was talking about or that BioWare had made a request to run an event over PSN. This was following our exclusion from Operation: Goliath. The second call (made around the time Operation: Fortress was live) consisted of me being passed from pillar to post in an attempt to find out if we would be able to participate in future BioWare events. I may as well have been speaking Latin.
