Hey, thanks for your excellent builder Narida.
I hope you don't mind if I point out some wrong values though, I hope this helps you to fix them when you have time to do so.

1) N7 Destroyer Missile Launcher refire time is incorrect, your formula apparently calculates the refire time by subtracting the total %, but the correct formula will be dividing the base time for 1+the % of increased refire. The game does so. In fact a -45% refire time when the base refire is 4s will result in 2,76 seconds (as displayed in game), not 2,2 (4*0,55), because 4/1.45 (rank2+rank5) = 2.7586

2) The vorcha lv1 passive weight capacity is displayed as 20%, while is only 10%.

3) N7 Demolisher Supply Pylon's drop frequency time reduction should follow the N7 Destroyer formula, as does in game.

4) Krogan Battlemaster's Barrier base cooldown penalty is still at 0.6, while is only 0.5 now after the past buff.

5) N7 Paladin light melee has been tested by vironblood and peddroelmz and the correct value is 800 damage, not sure about the heavy melee.

6) Geth Hunter Mode's power bonus value is still incorrect, it is listed 20% bonus damage while it is only 15%.

7) Geth Turret's Flamethrower damage output should be adjusted to match ingame displayed value (this has to be tested though).

Thanks again Narida. I honestly would have quit playing a long time ago if it werent for your builder. Repetitive enemies and glitches killed it. But I still like testing/trying with different builds and having them effective in battles :)

By the way, I dont have the link handy but some guys here found out just recently the melee mods from weapons aren't additive - They are *1.25 of all the melee values. See if you could make the change as well. Thanks.

I must post to congratulate the wonderful job that you have done. Not only is the builder very easy to use, it also has very clear presentation about the numbers. Clear presentation is not often something you can ask for when looking at this type of work but it really affords the user a much much more pleasant experience.

It's a long thread so I haven't read all the posts so I apologise if this has been answered already: when I check the checkbox for tactical scan I don't see any changes at all, is that normal?

Also, I saw the rank 6 sniper damage bonus for tactical cloak was additive. I think the rank 6 bonus is multiplicative?

According to your excellent webpage the Paladin II inflicts higher damage than a Carnifex X with High Caliber Barrel V. I have tested that yesterday on my PS3 in the weapon select screen and it disagrees. The Paladin II has the slightly lower damage output.

The weapon select screen's damage indicator isn't very reliable...
The damage for the paladin reflects the last balance update and the carnifex's value is from this spreadsheet:

You are not up to date on this ... Testing with breakpoints reveals paladin shield bash applies its damage in 2 hits ... (the shield bash beeing the heavy melee) ... Base damage for each of those 2 hits is 400.... For more details re-read vironblood's updated OP ...

EDIT: checked, okay so flame shield for everyone since the cryo evolution is bugged...

So the damage 150/400 is correct, because of the hidden modifiers and double applications (still I think that reporting 150/800 will be better for an overall view).

I've checked on the last 4 pages but... in the Armor Module box, what is the Power Stabilizer ? It does not exist in the game (at least I don't recall it and neither does my manifest) and seems to increase the powers' duration.
Is it a test or something ? :)


(or maybe a leak of a DLC to come ? ... dun dun dunnnnnnnnnn)

OP, I wanted to say congrats for all your hard work on that site. I actually go out of my way now to test new setups and everything to see how they look numbers wise before actually going to do it in-game. Keep up the good work man. :D

Yes, its the best tool around, and I had no idea that it was a BSN regular person that did it.   Very talented person doing great work:wizard:

It really helps when talking builds on this forum, and I'm thankful you are still interested enough to keep it up-to-date.

I love your calculator, one of my pinned tabs on my browser. i noticed N7 demolisher rank 5 passive power dmg is 15 on the calc and 20% in game

Just a small thing. Shotgun melee bayonet/knife/blade thing is multiplicative, not additive.
Strength Enhancer is only 10/20/30%, not the 25/50/100% that near everyone believed before.
Headshot VI is only 15/25/35% damage increase, not the 25/50/100% that near everyone believed before. Check pedroemlz's compendium of glitches for more detailed info and tests.

Incredible tool! Excellent work!


I have a couple of bugs to report tho. Equiping a shock trooper upgrade is being taken into account for Heavy Pistol Damage, and it is not adding total grenade count to the Demolisher at least, which reminds me that grenade count on each grenade power should sum each other (so without gear you can have a max of 8).

found some calculation bug, when adding 2 weapons each with melee upgrade (stunner, omni blade or blade attach.), those melee bonuses stack in the melee calculation chart, which ofc. is not true, because you can only use one gun at a time :) a solution would be maybe displaying 2 values of melee/heavy melee values, one for each gun (since the weapon upgrades might be in different level)

other than that, impressive job on the planner, loving the "new" (haven´t been there for a while) class select menu and the massively enhanced weapon, gear etc. menu

Little heads up, Tactical Cloak Rank 6 Sniper Riffle damage is little different than the other bonuses: http://social.biowar...3470/4#12693451

The current formula being used is this:

Sniper Base Damage * (TC Rank 6 + TC General bonuses + Passive bonuses + Gears and equipment...)

I believe the correct formula is:

Sniper Base Damage * (TC Rank 6) * (TC General bonuses + Passive bonuses + Gears and equipment...)

The distinction also applies to Blade Attachment for Shotgun, Melee stunner for Pistols, Incinerate Rank 6 Armor damage, Geth Weapon damage bonus from Geth's Passives.
