Some bugs I have recorded after a few PC playthroughs

 On my third playthrough and have noticed a number of recurring bugs that I would thought I would share here.  I am playing on PC Dig. Deluxe version.  I have an i7 processor with an Nvidia GTX570, Windows 7 x64, all latest drivers / OS updates.  Remarkably, the game is real stable with few crashes or game breaking issues.  Bravo Bioware!  :D

Here are the things I have found:

* Sometimes Shep gets stuck in the cockpit talking to Joker.  I can't find a cause, but you can't move Shep when it happens.  The game doesn't freeze and you can go into the menus.
* Some dialog gets cut off or you can't hear it.  This happens often with Traynor at the galaxy map.
* sometimes Shep's weapons default to a pistol and you have to re-equip.
* The Journal mission updates aren't very informative or dynamic.  Sometimes it is unclear if you have completed a fetch quest or not.
* In MP, you can still get stuck in maps and fall through the floor.  It's rare and random.
* Strange head movement when talking to Liara in her cabin.  Eyes roll around, etc.
* Sometimes characters will disappear in conversation cutscenes.  I am thinking of the CSec officer in the Presidium CSec office that is there to assassinate someone.
* Squad AI - I have found they are dumb and don't use powers enough.  You still need to micromanage them or they run around and get killed.

That's all I have now.

ive experienced all of these. #2 about the sound, i think i also had it when hackett was talking at some point on the normandy to shep, maybe in the little room before the war room, its like at the end of his sentences his speech would nose dive in volume and cut it off, then pick up again.

Exactly. For the record, I have a Creative XtremeGamer PCI sound card and use headphones and 5.1 sound. Cuts out in both configurations.

I can confirm all of the above. A few notes:

Sound: Most of the "cut-offs" seem to happen when having convos without a cutscene camera/closeup. Eg. when trading a few lines of dialogue with Traynor or someone on the Citadel. So, it's only been convos that don't use the dialogue wheel for me. It's also rather inconsistent, since it doesn't happen all the time.

cockpit/Bridge and getting stuck: Shep tends to get stuck if he/she gets too close to the "ridges" between the seats (ie. the bit that separates Joker and EDI). If you approach Joker directly from behind centre, then it's ok. You can still talk to EDI by turning the camera and selcting her. Still, I've gotten in to the habit of quicksaving before approaching Joker just in case...

Edit: "* Strange head movement when talking to Liara in her cabin.  Eyes roll around, etc." I think I know why this happens - Shep is focused on Glyph, which tends to more around behind Shep when conversing with Liara, so the head and/or eyes keep trying to follow.

I agree with everything, same here with me. Also, strange head movement also appears with Javik :blink:
And, wanted to add, when you are at the Citadel, and doing fetching quests, sometimes the person you have to deliever stuff to doesn't, and sometimes does, appear on the map. This only leads to running around every floor of the Citadel to see if there maybe is a square to complete a quest. Journal also completely useless. How should I know if the quest is almost done, or I haven't done anything about it at all? <_<

Yeah, I've noticed some of the times where people are kind of monologuing at you, especially when Javik is playing with his water and talking at you, his head and neck start playing interesting reenactments of the exorcist headspin.

Bump
