So as you know, cheaters can increase the number of credits every teammate, even the innocent ones, earn at the end of the match.
Are we supposed to sit on them, write to the bioware cheater mail an wait to have them erased by bioware? How long would it take them to do so? Should we even stop to spend the credits that we earn afterwards or should we just stay "above" the earned credits?
The last statement about that was about 3 weeks ago and was rather innaccurate, so I would appreciate if someone from Bioware would shed some light on this issue.
I know that theres a thread about cheating, but I am not "satisfied" with the answers given there because they are not exactly for this specific issue.

Greetings from Germany

Edit:
PMed Bryan Johnson. The credits were removed:D

Bump for you, since this is an increasingly likely situation that doesn't seem to have been addressed

You could just spam a bunch of Recruit packs....

Or the Jumbo Equipment packs, then you're not gaining a PERMANENT bonus to your character through nefarious means.

This would be rather risky without an official statement.

Send a mail at the adress linked in the "cheating" thread. You should also contact origin support, they can fix your credits (according to some people).

The rather useless live chat? Risk getting banned by them?

Quite the dilemma, but I'm sure EA's quality customer service and technical support will see the matter properly reserved. Right?

Do you mean ea live chat when you say customer service?

I think cheaters are banned due to repeating their actions. I'm sure you would be fine to spend them on a one off. Is Bioware really going to ban you and let them continue. Bigger fish to fry my friend

If the way they deal with cheaters is ban everyone that played with them for a random match you would have 3 innocent people for every cheater getting banned...not logical

If this is their solution I will boycot there products for life. If I were you I would spend the credits and simply ignore/report the cheater.

But for EA, credits in ME3 are money because they implemented the possibility to buy packs with bioware points. : /

Spend them all to dispose of the evidence.

 Because 3 000 000 credits won't stick out in their server logs:blink:
No, i won't spend them unless Bioware tells me to do so.

Tell them it was a gift from your spouse, it works with large sums of money and taxes.

jesus christ people this game if fake, the money is fake. if you didn't cheat on purpose then so what if you got rewarded for it? the way i see it we don't get enough credits per match anyways

Because Bioware/EA sees you spending tons of credits and then your entire account gets banned, meaning you can't play any of your games that you have payed for with REAL money any more.

Such a terrible way to look at the issue.

oh bioware, you mean the people that gave us day 1 dlc that shouldve been on the disc already? or the group that botched the ending of a fantastic series and says they'll fix it...for a price. i think i've done already paid my dues and if i get some random cheat/hacker in my game and i end up with a million credits i'm going to spend it, every time.

EDIT: its funny, they care enough about people exploiting their code-development screw ups but are too dumb, ignorant, or lazy to actually fix it so people can't do it anymore. i say screw it if they want to continue not giving a damn about performance of their game and just keep raking in money every chance they get then i'm gonna stop caring about when i join a game that has a cheater in it

This topic is not meant to derail to a Bioware hate thread. It's a serious topic that needs to be adressed. Hating will not help us to get an answer.

Edit: Talked to EA live chat. Said that everything is up to Bioware. EA can't erase credits etc. . Also told me to post on the (bioware) forums.

i wasn't really trying to derail anything just stating facts. if you went to a vending machine, put your $1.50 in to get a snack and 2 snacks came out instead would you contact the vending machine company, or even the owner of the establishment from which you used said vending machine, and return the item and tell them their equipment is malfunctioning? no, you're gonna say something like "oh, cool" and go about your merry way. i dont see why credit cheaters are any different. if bioware doesn't want to put in the time and energy to ensure that these things can't happen then they deserve this kind of exploitation

I would contact the vending machine company if there was the possibility to get banned from ever using a vending machine again.
Edit: Omg it is impossible that this topic gets adressed if this forum is spammed with less importan stuff.
Would someone be so nice to duplicate this topic to the general discussion?
