Talked to EA live chat again. This time he didn't tell me to write on the forums. He also said that senior support was not available for live chat. He forwarded the issue to a senior support that will send me a mail, though.
Why do I have the feeling that live chat guys never understand what I mean ?
BTW is there a possibility to check for the last players that you played with?

Yup... Hit the Xbox guide button and then go to Friends... there is a tab for recently met players.

That's if you are on the Xbox... dunno about PC or PS3.

Oh and you can do it online too

if they were to ban, they would ban the person using the hack and not the people he plays with who doesn't use the hack. Logically, they don't figure out who the cheater is through how much credits they earn, though it seems like bioware is cutting a lot of corners these days so they might just do that.
If you don't use hacks, then u got nothing to worry about

besides, this is the least of their problems right now, who cares about some cheater getting credits when there is the WHOLE FREAKING GAME to fix.

I know. The ending. I am not putting any more of my Shepards through that without some change to that half baked garbage they call ending.

it's amazing how they could make online product that can be hacked locally by 10 years olds, and affect 3 other ppl. From what I've heard they mail box must have been stuffed with complaints and reports. I don't expect them to have time to go after every hacker, least any victims.

what they should do is to work out a big patch that fixes these jokes.

I'd really like to see this resolved. Thankfully I haven't experienced this problem (yet), but it is a major concern.

This same thing just happened to me 25 minutes ago. Earned 3.5 million credits for a silver match. Sadly I didn't notice anything until I had left the room with the group so I didn't get the host player's name. Don't really know what to do, since I don't want to spend the credits in case I get in trouble for it but also don't really want to keep playing and earning credits if they end up wiping them all away. Oh well, promoted 4 guys already so did my part for the weekend operation at least I guess...

If people are afraid of spending credits they've gotten accidentally because they're afraid of being banned, I think that's saying something about the people in charge of the ban hammer.

Anyway, BW are usually good about this stuff - they've explicitly said they will only be banning people they 'know' are cheating without a doubt. This means people who do it consistently and obviously. Getting a whack of credits 'once' might put you under the radar. It's suspicious, but if it happens once, I don't think you'll be in trouble.

If it were me in charge, I'd tell you to enjoy the credits.

I had a similar situation and sent a private msg to one of the BioWare employees. I told them I had my playback turned on so they could check to see I was not purposely cheating, I was in a room with a cheater. The reply I got is "You wont get Banned". It was a one time thing, and I always quit out of rooms if I believe there is a cheater present.

Nothing will happen as long as it was a one time thing, and you dont constantly do it.

i wrote an email to me3mpcheaters@bioware.com , talked to an confused origin/EA-advisor and after a clarifying of my problem, he asked an senior and told me i can spend the credits without getting banned for this...

so i am with CPTCapslock worried about my account, i can't belive that we can spend the credits we got through those hackers.

demanding an official statement to this concern!

This platform has similar concerns, a message from the creator owners would be welcomed.
Until consensus is reached we shall refrain from 'splurging' resources.

Days pass. No word is forthcoming. Yet quote pyramids draw in an official moderator within a matter of hours.

Priorities, bioware. Do you have them? I'm being serious. I'm not -trying- to be a douche, here...but come on.... People are worried about having their accounts banned here for something that is in no way shape or form their fault. Yet you guys can't offer the common courtesy of a response? And your PR wonders why the gaming community has ripped your company to shreds the past few weeks...

Amen. It is honestly not hard to address this in a stickie.

Bump. And might I recommend if anyone else sees this post slip off the first page, bump it as well. Otherwise it will slip into the void of 'out of sight, out of mind' and we may never get an answer.

I think if people are afraid that their accounts will be banned for some activity, some amount of response is warranted by those doing the banning.

I've yet to experience a cheater in game at all, let alone 'benefit' from it. But if this happened to me, I would expect an answer in a reasonable amount of time. Doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

I'll give this a bump as well. Poor guy just needs an answer and I know I would as well.
