Well, apparently the mods can take time to lock down a thread where people are discussing weapons, but not to respond to a serious issue like this one.

Way to provide that expert customer service!!

Happened to me yesterday, quick joined a bronze game, played through it normally and at the end my credits totaled 98 million plus over 300k in experience. I would like an official response from Bioware as well.

You would think that Bioware's April Fools Day joke would be to give us good support... Guess not.

They're too busy shutting down other april fools day jokes to pay attention to real issues, judging by recent forum activity.

I wrote to the cheater mail adress, got a reply from Scylla Costa saying "looking into it". That was 2 weeks ago.
I´d like to know, too what to do with the money. If they´d delete it, it would be ok with me, if i can spend it i´d be ok, too but just to have it sit there is kind of annoying.

Maybe the rumors of people being banned for spending ill got credits were false. Perhaps bioware simply doesn't care what you do with it. If you've been waiting 2 weeks for a response that would be my personal assumption.

Though my luck, I'd lose my origin account as soon as I did so. Sad thing is, they already have a sticky to address cheating.... They just don't happen to actually address anything in it other than "Cheating is bad, we ban cheaters, rawr"

I guess they don´t say anything because the sums get bigger. I got 1 million in that hacked game but someone in this thread said he got 98 millions and thats too much to allow to spend.

Although i really don´get the hackers either because with so much money they get everything after one game and then whats the use of it ?
And why do they do their hacks in open games, if they cheat why don´t they just do a private game, pwn everything and be happy with their millions. Why drag other players into this ?

Good question. Though I'm guessing that after one game, they still don't have everything...not with the busted up nature of random rewards from packs.

Still, I'm with you when it comes to hacking in public games. My only guess is..they wanna show off their cheating skills? I honestly don't know. Private games seem safer when your account is on the line

This needs to stay at the top until it's answered.

Bound to be a concern for a lot of random match players at some point.

Already did a live chat session. Told me that everything is Bioware's business. What else should I do?

I was told to go to the Origin forum and create a topic in their bug forum. Also e-mailed the cheat address regarding it. Their support seems a bit... chaotic.

i wrote an email to me3mpcheaters@bioware.com , talked to an confused origin/EA-advisor and after a clarifying of my problem, he asked an senior and told me i can spend the credits without getting banned for this...

so i am with CPTCapslock worried about my account, i can't belive that we can spend the credits we got through those hackers.

demanding an official statement to this concern!

They just told me to post on the "forums". So I said that i posted on social.bioware.com . He said that would be ok. I don't think they actually know themselves what they want us to do?! :pinched:

Just keeping play as normal and earn credits and then spend those legit credits. As long you keep your playing habits normal eg spending 100k every hour (3 rounds of sliver nets 90k -100k). It wont affect your account. 300k credits is worth $10 on bioware store.

Sometimes TPTB don't give the help desk any information on what to do for some situations.

If you got them from what I think you got them from. lol at thinking you'll be banned for spending them. It isn't even cheating. I respect your integrity, I do, but just spend them and don't worry about it. You are not going to be banned.

This happened to someone I know who doesn't frequent the forums. It was only after he had spent them all and started wondering if I had played the "bonus" gold round that this issue came up. This was several weeks ago and thus far, nothing has happened. He wasn't aware that the credits were not his to spend - unless you frequented these forums...how would you automatically know? The MP player part came out less than a month ago.

for all demanding people, i screened indeed the whole conversation for my own safety, if it comes to an account-action against me. the one and only question is: am i allowed to post this here?

if so, then i will upload it immediately for us all.
but then the confusion will stay, if we can spend that credits, the guy with 98million will be the luckiest guy on earth and every gamer will search for those hackers, to stay friends with them just for more millions of credits?

to be short: that ruins the whole game in seconds...

or!

bioware dont give a sh*t and allow us to get all weapon upgrades at one day, bcuz they dont mind about her own multiplayer and their community?!

every day without a official comment to this confuses me more and more...

When people have something to gain personally, they usually ask "what's the harm?" instead of "what's the right thing to do?", don't they?
