I would just go about spending them...just don't do so in a suspicious manner, ie buy 50 Spectre packs in a row.

Another day without word from bioware. Surprise, surprise.

Maybe we should start a quote pyramid in this topic to get their attention...cuz those are important even our accounts are not.

Yeah would like to hear something on this. I just can't bring myself to play until I hear something cause earning credits that might be taken away isn't fun, and I don't want to run the risk of getting my account cancelled. Guess I need to find something else to play for a while...

i wrote an email to me3mpcheaters@bioware.com , talked to an confused origin/EA-advisor and after a clarifying of my problem, he asked an senior and told me i can spend the credits without getting banned for this...

so i am with CPTCapslock worried about my account, i can't belive that we can spend the credits we got through those hackers.

demanding an official statement to this concern!

I still have a hard time believing this is true.  I just can't see an EA/BW employee giving the greenlight on spending hacked credits, as this justs opens the door for people to "unwittingly" join hacked games and profit.

Dude obviously BW does not care about your damn credits. If anything BW will prob ban people who are doing 1-hit kills or egregiously messing with gameplay, and players report them specifically, they aren't going to track down everyone who spent a lot of in-game cash to see "oh, maybe this guy cheated to get these!" They can't even fix the server disconnects, I'd think that's their priority over monitoring credit spending.

They don't want to ban customers, and since this isn't a PVP, where players get really mad over cheating, I can't see them blanket banning people over getting credits accidentally. Enjoy your bazillion credits already, just ration them and buy like one Spectre pack a day if you don't want to feel dirty over it.

But there is only the quick match function. You would have to become freinds with a cheater. And then 1 hour later you have got several millions of credits. Nah, that wouln't be suspicious.

They aren't doing much with actual cheaters so I doubt we have much to worry about.

This really isn't a big deal lol. You're stressing like you could get sent to jail for this or something and BW is taking intense personal detective interest in this. They have bigger things to worry about I think, as should be clear by the laissez faire responses you've gotten from multiple reps.

When you start getting 1 million cash for just completing a sliver game then id be worried because 1 million credits is the equviental of ~$35 worth of bioware points (thats a straight up ban if you use those credits)..

Bump for justice.  Hope Bioware replies with a relevant comment but thats wishful thinking.  Your more likely to see a response like

"Butterflies are like flowers blowing in the spring wind, unlike syrup on peanut butter pancakes"

*cough* They do. A while a go another user posted here & claimed to have joined a hacked game, received plenty of credits, spent them & got banned from MP & SP. BW invesitgated and it turned out that his story wasn't quite true, so he remained banned from MP.

Even then they didn't say that it would have been ok if he had just spend the credits.

Spend the credits, report the cheater to EA, move on.

Or, at least, that's what I'd do.

They also care about cheating in a COOP-game.

Sending a mail and reporting cheater will not give result. Even if they do ban the cheater, they will do nothing with your credits. They will wait until you spend the credits and then they will ban you.

Contact support via live chat and ask them to clear your credits or offer you other solution.

Already tried EA live chat 2 times. 1 said he would forward the problem to a senior. Haven't gotten a mail yet though .

I have never received cheated credits, not that I know of. I honestly don't want to do this but I am very curious how someone would do this?

I'd just spend them. I play on Xbox, so i doubt there are as many cheaters. I also dont really know how many credits we are talking, but i'd just spend them in a normal way. ME3's package system is a complete rip off anyway.

If it was anything less than 3,000,000 creds I'd say spend 'em. But I agree that that is way too many to just spend without getting some kind of "whatever it's not your fault go ahead" from BioWare.

Developers always ignore the "awkward" questions
