So presumably, if you're in this forum, you've completed the trilogy. First of all, well done Commander.

Which is your favorite and why? Is it the original Mass Effect with it's sprawling Citadel, Saren the Spectre, and the mystery of the Conduit?

Is it Mass Effect 2, the Terminus Systems teeming with all sorts of scum and villainy, the biggest squad yet, and the Collectors after the whole of humanity?

Or is it Mass Effect 3, where the Reaper War hits the galaxy, and the homeworlds, tons of returning characters, and the fate of every person hanging in the balance?

I'm going to post mine further down as I don't want my opinion in the opening post.
