Is there some possibility of exposed wiring coming in contact with the metal vents at some point? Not being sarcastic. Honestly asking here.
Not in this world, and as an engineer, I'd say not in the future.

It is not about warning Shepard. It's about warning the player. Because it is the player who has to be indoctrinated, not Shepard, for reasons that should be obvious.

Man, I really hate this kid subplot, there's too much nonsense with how we first talk to that kid, the "you can't help me!?" and all. And here we are trying to make sense of it all.
That sign language for "dangerous" in front of the danger sign is pretty funny though.
But I still wish there's gonna be a patch or even DLC that can rid us of that goofy kid, including the silly dreams of chasing that kid through the woods!

yeah every time you see the kid at the beginning theres a warning sign next to him. signs are on the dropship too when he gets onboard

The people running away from the Reapers are 8-bit sprites, the guns on the airship are just scaled barrels of the Eviscerator, the Presidium commons can glitch and show the battle damage before the Cerberous attack, and Shepard has trouble keeping his eyes in place.
Art assets are just not a good indicator for things such as this.
Just one other little design thing I noticed: When I save Kelly Chambers, after talking with her, she actually references the Cerberus coup...before it happens.
I'm sure that was just Shepard's subconscious warning him/her about the possibility of a coup, though.

It is a warning sign for electricity if someone was to go in the vent. Simple enough. The fact that it is different to voltage warning signs nowdays is that it is set in the future. Also, has anyone posted any evidence of this sign being in other places the kid is seen? But yeah, I can see why people might grasp at straws for this to support the indoc theory.

I'm just guessing this all very important to the story,

That means we can kill him using electricity? A taser gun maybe?

I take it you guys have heard the "Pax" coincidence (or not) as well?
Bioware are expected to make an announcement at PAX in April. That, oddly enough, is also the name of the system where TIM's base is. You know, the point the game brings you back to after completion....
I'm sure it's just a coincidence though.
