So I hope this is just coincidence (well I don't care, really, I'm screwed anyway).

My launch PS3 broke. After finishing MtoA, I went downstairs to have lunch, when I came back my PS3 was turned off and I couldn't get it to start up again, as the green light would instantly jump to a blinking red light.
So, now my PS3 is unable to boot (with my DA2 disk still in the tray), even after trying to restart it after leaving it off overnight.

Is this just a really eerie coincidence or has MtoA actually wrecked my HDD?

Probably just a coincidence. Mass Effect 2 was the game that yellow lighted my launch PS3 but I know the game wasn't responsible, it had been acting up for a while before that.

depends, how old you ps3 is. is it the slim version or the fat ps3
