My human vanguard uses disciple X and phalanx X with 200% CDs still.
And my kroguard uses the spike thrower VIII Cds are 115% but i cant be sure, still good enough to spam charge/melee/shot in the face.

Geth plasma shotgun X / avanger X / locust X dont have a decent pistol beside the phalanx but if i had the carniflex X id go with that, and locust wold be interchangable with the geth SMG if i could ever get one

Carnifex X has served me well during the last few Silver games. Not going to make a dent on bosses, but with an AP mod, it'll reach out and touch a Guardian or two...in the head, right through the shield.

Disciple sucks. Carniflex once its level is high enough and before that the Phalanx.

I use the Hornet X mostly, but I have Carnifex X with scope as backup and range weapon for hacking missions and headshots.

Started playing my human vanguard again after I got my Evi to X.
Been doing pretty decent on Silver so far (non-hosting). Working up the guts and timings to take her into Gold.

Regardless of whether you've gone half-blast or fullnova-recharge, it's very much Gold viable. You DEFINITELY have to host, though. There isn't another option. Lag = death on gold. Also I recommend equipping some power-eff models for your first few runs.

I started experimenting with a few different shotguns - I mainly play a full-nova recharge-demon novaguard - but for now, nothing quite beats the Eviscerator X. The extra recharge time (and fast reload) is usually the difference between a charging novaguard, and a dead one.

My Wraith's at IV now, might get different when it hits VIII or so....

Yeah, I went full nova and am aware it should be gold viable, but I haven't been playing her for quite some time and I need to get my timing and targeting back up before I go for it. And yeah, hosting is a must, I imagine. Even on silver non-hosting games can be harsh.

But I WILL arrive at the vanguard sometime soon, don't worry

I always go with only one weapon, but I keep changing them. My favourite is the Geth Plasma SMG X, but sometimes I go with my Carnifex IX (personally, using the SMG is more fun, I'm not much into clicking, lol), sometimes with Avenger X since it's extra light as well.

Hurricane or Talon. Both are amazing weapons in general but especially so in your enemie's face.

I actually just unlocked the Talon today, and while I haven't tried it on a Vanguard, I intended to. But if I play vanguard, I take the Scimtar.

I like the Claymore, GPS or Falcon on the heavy end. Claymore requires the use of modules to get cooldown to +120%. Then the Wraith, Evi or Talon make up the light end of weapons choices. After the recent buffs to those 3 weapons they have all become light weight, but still hard hitting options.

Hurricane. Hornet. Eviscerator. Talon when i get it to a nice level/unlock drell HP weight reduction.
All of these have great DPS and keep my cooldowns in -150-200 range.

Graal on human vanguard when i feel like it. I mostly don't though, as it's still level one and i am no fan of consumables.
