Anyone read Starlin's Metamorphosis Oddyssey?

Having the Crucibel be something like the Infinity Horn designed to destroy the galaxy would have made for an interesting ending.  That the people who designed the crucibel beleived that the Reapers could not be stopped and so the only way to stop them was to destroy the galaxy to spare future races from the reapers.  Maybe giving Shepard the choice between destroying the galaxy and ending the cycle for good or not and taking the chance that they could stop them another way. 

Just a thought anyway.
