It's the internet. Everybody feels entitled to do online what they can't offline.

Which is funny, because how often do these types of internet campaigns ever work out? The people who complain, you got 25+ hours (likely well over that) of quality game time.

Go play a Call of Duty single player game, then come back here and complain about Mass Effect 3's story/ending. I dare you.

COD has nothing to do with ME3 ****ty ending and you and all the idiots like you who like the endings are a minority as i have of yet not seen one person except dragonlords say why they think the endings are good just a bunch of bioware ass kissing.

Making a simple example that there isn't a more rich story to be found in any other game.

If you let the ending blind the overall game, that's your problem, not mine. And I feel sorry for you.

I too am ok with the ending. It certainly does not deserve the thermal nuclear flame fest it has received.

well the devs have said its ww2 in space so if you think about it the relays being destroyed would be the atom bomb

it makes sense if you ask me despite the unaswered questions afterwards

I see several people who don't have ME games registered. But they agree with your hatred of the endings. Are they trolls, as well?

I don't have ME games reigstered, because my roommate and I share an X-Box and he's the one that registers the games. Am I a troll as well?

Really, it's fairly clear who the trolls are - regardless of whether or not they have games registered.

(In case that wasn't obvious, that was me calling you a troll)

Yeah, that pretty much is their standard line of attack. "You like the endings? UR A TrOOOOOOOLLLLLLL"

It's, really, quite sad.

The only minority are the idiots who like the ending.

Do you have the numbers for the people outside of the people posting on the internet? if not I suggest you look up the 1% rule for the reason the retake mass effect movement is called a vocal minority.

As for the ending I thought they were OK (but could of been done a lot better) for reasons I won't go into here as it is a non-spoiler forum

Isn't that what you guys were saying to us for not liking the ending? Saying we are trolls, said we don't understand, tried to educate us, tell us we are wrong, it's art and make up bull**** theories like the Indoctrination ending?

It's like some people can't fathom how much a **** up Bioware made.

 Started with ME2, did you?

That explains a lot.

ME2 and 3 were designed to appeal to people who didn't care about the story, and only wanted Call of Gears of Mass Effect Duty.

I just finished last night and I must say that I also enjoyed the ending. There is a little confusion with the Normandy, and the dialog could have been more in depth, but all in all I enjoyed the concept of the ending and how it played out.

Spoiler:

The star child/Reaper concept made sense to me, and so did the solutions. I think if it gave you more options to converse on, and showed how or why the Normandy ended up where it did would help. Overall though, conceptually, I had no problem with the ending.

I've never once said that. If you dislike the ending, that's fine with me. I'm not, and never will, trying to convince you otherwise. When asked, in a respectful manner, of why I did like the endings, or if I could explain how certain things went down, I'm more than happy to. Not to convince you to like it, but just so you can see where I'm coming from.

If you dislike it, that's a matter of taste, and you can't argue against subjectivity, that's just stupid.

That being said... the indoctrination theory is idiotic. Sorry. It is.

I also thought the end was not as bad as people are making out.

We should start a signature campaign much like they have. You know the "retake masseffect" gang.

We should do "Leave ME Alone!" or something.
Ha! love it. i'm going to create a sig for that. Feel free to nab it if you like ;)

I liked the ending(s) for Mass Effect 3. It was not perfect and I would have liked some elaboration as to why Joker & crew abandoned Earth but I did thought the ending was emotional and it make you think. If anything, the vaired opinions about the game's ending shows how much the fans love this series. If Mass Effect was a crappy series, no one would care about the endings.

no what we should do is tell new gamers go by there own judgment and if they have concerns at least rent it

we should also tell them to avoid the bsn honestly since people like to ruin the experiance for the new guy/girl

I am in agreement with the OP, with the exception that I didn't 'love' the ending. BUT! I was not offended or disappointed by it, at least not to the extent others have been. Playing through ME3, I felt like I was already playing through the ending, because I was getting closure along the journey. Quarians, Geth, Genophage, Mordrin, etc. All gave me the closure I was looking for, and if I took the ME3 ending at face value, my imagination was more than able to fill in the blanks for me.

It was a great and heart wrenching experience to play through ME3, but I wouldn't be adverse to them including DLC to flesh out the ending.
