Great, you are certainly shallow aren't you. Liking the ending doesn't make you mature it makes you shallow and maybe a little dumb... OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH, you started ME recently and don't really care about the ME universe because you have only been playing ME games for less than 2 years. (most likely you have only been playing on and off for like 5 months)

Exactly how does liking the ending make you shallow?

How do you explain me liking it then?

Ignore him, he's not worth the effort. The fact he resorted to calling people who like the ending shallow and dumb shows you all you need to know about him.

Yeah, agreed. When somebody refuses to have a civilized discussion with you, just let them be.

Now, you already said you liked it because you could imagine what happenes afterwards, and for you, this is the most diverse end to a series possible.
The OP's reasoning was kind of the same.
Most of the peoples' reasons are kind of matching in this regard. The people who liked the ending.

Orly? Taking the ending at face value is what makes you shallow. There is nothing wrong with liking it, or disliking it. But you need to look at the ending closely and see that there is more at work here. Wait til April 6, and you will see.

OP watch out for the trolls...I mean this vocal minority called "retake mass effect"...I am still wondering who are they retaking mass effect from exactly i mean its not like they had anything to do with the creation of the game/series...
The only minority are the idiots who like the ending.
Truth.
A little harsh, but true.
I find it funny that 95% of the people who make threads like this either don't have a game associated with their account, or only have ME3.
Anyone who's invested time into the series, ME1-ME3, I'd dare say that oh, about 91% dislike the endings.
Good on ya, OP! Glad you liked the endings. Too bad you're in a very small minority. Maybe you could explain WHY you liked them?

I know you guys are right, but I enjoy calling people out on baseless acusations... it's a character flaw what can I say

Yeah that response was more towards how he said that he only liked it because he had only started playing recently just wanted to show him that he was completely incorrect in that regard:innocent:

That is not true. The ending was sh!tty beyond comparison and the only way to like it is a preferance for crappy writing (probably they like Twilight as well).
HOWEVER, having bad taste in literature does not make you an idiot.

Yes, we are idiots for liking a game, and the small percentage that also like the endings.
Well cry me a river, why don't you. you don't like it. SO wHAT? I know people who enjoy Ishtar despite that its one of the worst movies ever made.
You can't like something that is incorrect. If you like the ending it just prooves that you haven't invested enough time in the mass effect universe to understand what happened. The ending is false as in it can't happen without everyone in the galaxy dying. Mass relays blowing up?! You can't argue against the plotholes, the rest is a matter of personal opinion and I respect that, BUT DOSE PL0THOLES! Makes me go sad face ;(

I agree the people like me who like the endings are in the minority on the forums but that is in no way indictative of the feelings of the user base as a whole. We (as a forum) are only one small part of the user base that Bioware cater for and I have yet to see any data from a source that takes a true cross sections of the entire user base that shows one way or the other which side of the debate on the endings are the minority of users.

I've been a fan of Bio Ware since Bauldur's Gate and I think ME3 is their best work to date.
You probably think Twilight and Harry Potter are the greatest stories in the history of mankind, then.

On account of the huge sample size this forum provides it is safe to assume that the overall picture is more or less the same.

This company had a golden opportunity to finish in a grand fashion and instead just put together a bunch of clone endings with different colours and some psychedelic dialogue and then shoved it out the door at us.
At this point I would watch any new DLC (endings or otherwise) on youtube before buying just incase i get hit like that again. I know that seems strange but i,m that jaded by this experience.
P:S I will say that ME3 did have some high points though (Mordins genophage cure mission on Tuchanka as a case in point)
