Mammaries are used for feeding. Just because a kid was born in an egg, doesn't mean they don't need sustanance.
For example the platypus lays eggs and has mammary glands.

Definately, viviparous, otherwise Liara wouldn't be an 'outie' or an 'innie'. Realistically, though if she were monotreme she would not need nipples.

I couldn't find the post on Asari Menstruation, but because of how they work, I don't think Asari have them, they can choose whether or not to get pregnant, so there is no reason for them to drop an egg every month.
