They have mammary glands, which would be useless for an egg laying species.

Not necessarily. Look up "monotreme". However, they are probably viviparous considering they've got bellybuttons.

Wow, that is interesting. Australian wierdos...

I bet they're two tone. It all depends what angle you're looking at them. Taste the rainbow.

More importantly, do asari have vaginas?

I mean, how does the plumbing work to begin with?

A race of all females, so its not as if they evolved to have a complimentary  male organ rammed into them....

They still have to push babies out from somewhere, and poopers tend to not be very hygienic.

Maybe asari's lay eggs like birds and fish.  I mean they are squid like in nature to begin with.

Not neceesarily true.

Mammaries are used for feeding.  Just because a kid was born in an egg, doesn't mean they don't need sustanance.

For example the platypus lays eggs and has mammary glands.

Oh yeah, pretend to take the moral high ground, as though these questions never entered your head.

Search your feeling, you know you want the answers as well.

Or, you know. Wrex for Gay LI

Definately, viviparous, otherwise Liara wouldn't be an 'outie' or an 'innie'.  Realistically, though if she were monotreme she would not need nipples.

Yes, I was wrong.

I raise you a belly button, though.

I couldn't find the post on Asari Menstruation, but because of how they work, I don't think Asari have them, they can choose whether or not to get pregnant, so there is no reason for them to drop an egg every month.

Nipples are used for post birth reasons.

A kid can be hatched from an egg but still needs to be fed.

Belly button can be their egg laying hole or even their poo hole.

Have we ever witnessed how an asari uses the bathroom?

Honestly, I do wish more of the alien anatomy was covered in game, it's not a big deal but, there is definitely a curiosity, hell one of my gf's was an anthropologist.
