I'm still very surprised that this guy cares so much. Not complaining though, his articles are very good.

Personally... I think all 6 points are very well explained... but my favorite ones are 4 to 6. Once again I think Kain nailed it

Legacy of Kain: Told Reaver
Forbes are consistently putting out great articles about this. One bright spot, ME3's ending has brought their gaming news section a lot of attention.

Most of the blogs on Forbes are great imho. At least they are not stuck up their ****s being pretentious and are trying to be pragmatic about the situation.

They're a business magazine/website, not a games website, so they don't have that symbiotic relationship with publishers that outlets like IGN and Gamespot have.Lookout1390 wrote...

In other words, they can employ logic since they don't rely on publishers for ad revenue, etc.

I sort of agreed with Yahtzee, regarding what I'd like to see from any ending DLC.

That was a good article. I especially liked his point about how major productions like ME already have their "artistic integrity" altered by focus groups and the whims of the ones who are paying for the thing to be made.

Another great article. I never thought I'd read so much from Forbes!
I particularly liked the bit about Sherlock Holmes. That was pretty much the biggest about-face I can remember an artist making -- and as far as I'm concerned, the post-Reichenbach Falls stories were just as good as the first ones Conan Doyle had written.
Not to mention that that precedent goes back a little further that Fallout, and Doyle didn't destroy artistic integrity for everyone.

Seriously. I just reviewed a bunch of Forbes' articles on gaming and their coverage and prespective are great. I never thought I would be going to Forbes to get my gaming news but the content is just "good".
I am not just talking about the ME3 coverage either. They have an article on warning labels to video games which is an excellent read.
