I was dismayed at Yahtzee's opinion... though it's not really surprising. I love his "reviews", but I can't say I agree with his views on a lot of things.

fan to begin with; it’s not my cup of tea. But purely from a business
angle, it makes good sense to hear what your customers are saying and
respond – and not just with PR-gloss. Actions speak louder than words.

E.D. Kain made another article.
Link: Forbes article
What is your opinion?
Well I agree with the article 100%.
Bioware used to say that we co-made the game with the developers. They always had good interaction between us and them. Now, suddenly, they are crying foul and claiming "artistic integrity" and pretty much going back on their previous stance.
Hopefully come April the "fix" we were promised from Dr Ray Muzyka, will be an actual improved ending and not some crappy DLC that just "explains" the current ending for those of us "that don't get it". Bioware is on shakey ground here if you think about it. DA fans were disappointed in DA2, they just made the most expensive game in history (SWTOR) and now this. They could lose a chunk of their fanbase if they don't swallow their pride and do the right thing.
Remember people: HOLD THE LINE

However, I don't understand why people are even taking Yahtzee seriously. I understand why his Extra Punctuation article was used as a basis for the Forbes article, but Yahtzee clearly has no idea what he's writing about. He's funny, he's a comedian, but he's not a credible journalist.
This is what Yahtzee writes will happen if BioWare change/add to the ending:
I find it outright ironic that this is exactly the way the ending is in its current form with "lots of speculation for everyone" and, according to Casey Hudson, exactly the way BioWare wanted it. Yahtzee is either biased or has not clearly researched the issue. The series will effectively have no ending, just a big gap with the words “Audience: Fill In Your Preferred Ending Here"
I'm not even going to address his calling the fanbase "idiots." That's just below me.

I'm still very surprised that this guy cares so much. Not complaining though, his articles are very good.
i personally like the part where he says "he's not attached." it should drive the point further - this is an outsider to these forums and this game world. his perspective is completely unbiased.

He also picks apart the "artistic" integrity issue, and points out the huge flaw it is to go PR, on an internet base consumer base. It just dosnt work.
I mean i like his take on the ending as well, but some of the issues he brings upp are actually "important", as in real world important, not slighted by crappy game ending important.
