Krogans need to do 2x damage

Also, on consoles buff their health to 2x, otherwise they will still complain owing to the clumsiness of their controllers
Buff krogans: Bioware, do it!

But more survivability? Sure.

Seriously. There is no reason a cerberus soldier should be tougher than a KROGAN.
Their weapon damage should stay the same, but they should have
a) 2x melee damage
c) Their famous regenerating health
d) MUCH slower mobilit to compensate

They are the biggest, slowest moving target in the game with no dodge skill and such extremely melee centric skills.
That, and they need enough HP/Shields to actually COMPENSATE for their bigger status coupled with no rolls.
Right now, the only ones who would pick a Krogan on Gold are die-hard Krogan fans because the race is underpowered.

YOU need SKILL to compensate not dying apparently...

I rarely die on any class, but I've played enough combinations to know that the krogan are very far behind.
If you think Krogan are fine I recommend leaving Bronze difficulty

That would be nice but they'd still need to address the issue regarding Krogans getting stun locked till they're dead. Health regen only kicks in if you're not taking continuous damage IIRC which isn't the case with stunlocking.
It happens to all races, I don't know why Krogan players insist it's so specific to them. Krogan at least have the defenses to survive the burst of it.

A couple of changes I'd make, however.
Invulnerability during the enter rage animation, which unglues the krogan from cover, and frequently causes death.
Their heavy melee should be AOE, no question. Full damage on target, quarter and stagger on others in close proximity.
Considerably more resistance to stunning. If you have ever played as a krogan vs geth, you know exactly what I am talking about.
Health Regeneration while in Rage mode. The krogan is a close combat/melee class. This role should not change or become unviable due to the difficulty setting.
To counterbalance these buffs, I would suggest a slight drop in accuracy for all weapons with the exception of shotguns. Tired of seeing fake Krogan using sniper rifles.

However, personally I can melee and survive on gold on the early waves, what I am looking for is a damage increase to balance us, such that we kill at range with comparable speed to infiltrators and adepts. This has the added advantage of working on the bosses and packs of elites.
Our melee on gold early waves does not overshadow the top classes, and our survivability as many point out is not really better. Thus, we would remain balanced

If you spec full melee, and take a bayonet, you can kill a standard trooper in one smash on gold. You put in the points, and you are rewarded.

if you take no 'out of the way' melee talents, without a bayonet, you kill regular troopers in a single melee + 1 shot... and stun/KO them if you don't kill them.

Giving other enemies more time to cause damage to you.
