Keep him, but add context to him.

They should just drop him.

Have Shepard hit by the beam, but get onto the Citadel.
Show that even when blasted and near death Shepard can still fight on and through sheer will power reaches the end and saves the galaxy.

That would have been much more impressive.
Shepard fighting through the Reaper forces, gunning down TIM, taking out anything between him/her and the Crucible control.

Kind of like that scene in Voyager where one dude takes out the entire engine room but gets shot, still managing to hit the button and save the day.

Necroposting after all this time (because I can) just to brag ... I feel the pain for every sorry person who actually had to go through bioware's retarded child syndrome. It's already a big enough pain in the ass to have this freak 3 times in a completely moronic dream sequence, but an ending dedicated to this idiocy ...

Lucky for me, I NEVER saw the original ending (not even going to youtube it). And NEVER will. MEHEM mod ftw. Remove the bastard. Kill it. With fire. I don't even want to try and give a chance to this piece of sh ... Mhmm ... Piece of "work" I mean.

Anyway. I must congratulate BW. They are the pinnacle. They are ... Godlike. I mean seriously, they are not human, they are supernatural and perfect beings. It must be that, because seriously, idiocy at THAT rate is simply IMPOSSIBLE for human beings. They MUST be Gods, for sure, gods of idiocy while at it.

I certainly think so. But I think some open debate is in order, to find out what the overall opinion of the BSN is.

This lovely character turns up in the last 5 minutes of the game, steals the limelight, and forces Shepard to do his bidding. He doesn't even get a chance to say no. Removing the Star Child, and replacing him with a different ending that has logic, would be the best move in my book.

Now, I know about the indoctrination theory. The idea that this is either poor quality writing, or the best idea Bioware has ever had. Now of course, if the IT turns out to be true, I will happily dig into some humble pie. But I want to explore here, the hypothesis that the IT is wrong, and how Bioware could fix a broken ending.

So... think the game would be better without the Starchild being in the game at all?

yes and you can with MEHEM Bioware have no intenion of doing so now tht ME3 is done and dusted as far as the team are concerned.

wait when you say you never saw the original ending are you talking about EC as the first ending saw or did you just install MEHEM from the get go and choose to remain unaware? by the way that must be nice MEHEM is ace and fantastic work but having seen the original and EC ending I can't get past the little voice at the back of my mind that reminds me that it is a mod.

I'm not sure if this has been said or shown in the last nine pages, so I'll state the obvious answer.

You've all see FemShep giving 'glow boy' the boot... best picture ever! :)

Since we are already digging this up, yes. The kid was stupid. Not just as the catalyst but the whole plaguing Shepard with bad dreams gimmick. No thanks. It was way too forced.
