If the Catalyst goes, I may be able to start accepting the ending easier

I am amazed. So far i've hardly seen one post even try to defend the Starchild. A few accepting it probably won't happen. but the overall opinion so far, is that he has to go.
your just mad because you lost your chance to shine Harby

Attempting to defend the endings on this forum is a good way to get yourself flamed into a tiny crispy Soylent Green remnant.

Everyone knows that its not a God child right? Its the original Reaper AI manifesting as the child thats haunted you all game.
Part of me wants to continue this explanation, but a larger part of me knows nobody cares, youre either cool with it or your not, and nothing is changing your mind.

Oh, i've seen it happen. The problem is, that those who i've seen post that they enjoy the ending, post their thread in such a way as to intentionally trigger inflammatory comments. I am all open to people disagreeing with me. All I ask is that they have a credible reason for doing so.

Taking him out completely would bad form.
As much as I don't like him it would be like removing JarJar from SW I know a lot of people hated him but a few people really like him...

Did anybody really think the Reapers manifested from thin air? Seriously? People want closure, but they don't want more backstory on the reapers.

I would love to hear your explanation. I think the reapers were a species that saw a good reason for making themselves into a monster (Because of dark energy not to control Chaos) if they really wanted to control choas they would just not let themselves make synthetics.

It is the plot device that ruins the ending to ME3. Every line of dialogue it utters
introduces plot-holes, contradictions, contrivances and circular logic
that ultimately unravels the story of not only ME3 but the preceding two
games. The coup de grace is the offering of three offensive endings
that provide us with varying degrees of genocide/eugenics.
As others have said, take out the starchild and you’re left with a pretty decent and emotional ending.

As Bioware doesn't want to retcon, but seems instead bent on adding to the ending, I don't see it happening though.
