Yeah I really hated what they did with Morinth... which was nothing! Took a very interesting character and shafted her.Dendio1 wrote...
Least she got some screen time. Morinth basically got a giant middle finger from bioware. Jacob as well to a lesser extent

I understand were your coming from. But read this, its a romance/ending for Samara and it fits so well because it fits her character. And this is kinda what I was imaging what would happen if Samara was a full LI in ME3. i know people dont really like to read long storys so your in luck its not long, its all dailoguegoose2989 wrote...
I wish you Samara lovers could have had the chance, but I can understand why she wasn't included as a LI. In my opinion, it would have taken away from her devotion to the Justicar Code. Even if it says she is technically allowed love, it is one more thing to get in the way of her duty

She's a Justicar, near the end of her life and every child she'd had has been an Ardat-Yakshi. Can see why she's kind of not interested in romance.
Adrat-Yakshi are purebloods, can only be born if two Asari reproduce. Morinth makes a huge point about that, and how she as a pureblood is the future evolution of the Asari race, before you kill her, and Samara mentions it a few times as well I believe.

Actually Samara says that it only occurs in pruebloods like her self, so shes saying that may be the root of the stigma, but she doesn't know. It's eithier it comes from two asari mating or it comes from pruebloods being the mother. In which case that means Liara could have A-Y with Sheperd, but god that would be awful. But me personally I think it comes from two asari mating.Laurencio wrote...

Pretty sure she's like a thousand years old. That's quite an age gap
Liara is over 100, still quite an age gap and very old by human standards. (Even though samara is 9x older)
Also it's not about the age as it is to her beautiful personality..and I kinda feel sorry for her.

Thats an awsome pic! Really cool. And as for the age thing I agree with you, age doesn't matter. I love Samara for her self. She is the one of if not the deepest character in ME. And as a plus asari dont age, which is why she still looks so elegant and sexy.Jessica1995 wrote...

I just love her personality, You can predict Samara, but also there are those moments where you're just like "okay did NOT see that one coming".warlock22 wrote...

Like how she casually sais in ME2 "My daughter's condition is my fault... and my redemption lies in killing her." and a few other lines about killing her daughter. She sais it in a very casual way which was a bit odd but understandable, but after you kill Morinth and talk to Samara in the Normandy she literally sounded like she was crying under her voice. "She was the strongest and smartest -- she would have never accepted the injustice thrust upon her. I am so Proud of her Shepard." did not expect that last line at all.
Also I don't like how they kinda "tossed her aside" in ME3 =(

GOD DAMNIT...she is actually one of my favorite side characters and much like zaeed messani and katsumi goto got way to little screen time in ME 3. BW actually created a problem for themselves in ME 3 since they put in so many well laid down characters in ME 2 that now they needed to give eveyone a good ending which wasnt always the case.
and now they do the paragon lost thing...with the most boring and dull character of them all. james vega is a boring grunt. maybe this will develop him more but i would rather see a comic/book or anime episode or series about some other characters, perhaps not human at all and quit possibly samara. i think it would be interesting to see how her life turned out with her children having that condition.
god i like samara, why you no romance ?

Plus Samara.... i don't know. She kinda shuts off any "hawtness" by talking and behaving like she does. As a thousand years-old entity, she seems pretty much 'above' sex and romance.
Also i find her cleavage a beyond-ridicolous fanservice, much like Jack going naked in gunfights, but whatever. (i guess tatoo ink has a percentage of metal that provides a degree of armor :PPPP)

ok that is true lol, but although she is 700 years old her emotions are all subdued due to the code. she does say however she could find more then happiness with "you". the emotions are there she just choses to be above it. can turn somebody off or on. its just a preference.
it would have been interesting to see how that romance would have turned out.

Yea, not every character has to be bangable, this constant harping for romanceable characters is pretty sad imo.robertthebard wrote...
Sorry if this has been brought up, but she tells you exactly why: She's already been through her Matron phase, she's nearly 1,000 years old, and knows what she wants out of the rest of her life, and romance isn't it. It really is as simple as that.

She pretty much says exactly what I wrote. Although she does thank you for expressing interest. I thought it might be fun to pursue it, but got shot down in flames, if politely.gamaggedon wrote...
i dont think its that simple, but i will need to get through those dialogues again. its really hard to pin down what she sais, feels and thinks, which makes her a good character.

[Why else have her execute a defenceless merc in her 1st scene, and very nearly kill that detective in her 2nd scene? Maybe Bioware should have made this a bit clearer and have her burn a few kittens as well. If there had been a renegade interrupt to shoot her then and there, I would have taken it]
