But it also seems like you want more. So I think maybe we're on the same side of this issue anyway.

Heck, if I wanted things to be left up to the imagination, I wouldn't have bought ME3 at all!The Angry One wrote...

I really enjoyed the ending as well. i like how it left things up to the imagination.
Hey, I can use my imagination without paying BioWare, thanks.
But congrats on liking the ending OP! You hardly see any pro-ending people out here who come out and say that they liked the ending and why without "insulting" those who didn't like the ending.
Then again, most of the people who didn't like the ending jump almost instantaneously over threads of pro-ending people (no offense).
Oh, and I'm not hating you. I wouldn't even dare.

I thought everything came together perfectly. It was too beautiful to even put into words.
I am sorry, I am pleased that you loved the ending, but I couldn't read past that bit
(I have noticed a lot of people who say they love the ending, never just think it was ok or was pretty good)

Oh but you see they want us to hate. It's so much easier for them to pretend we're being unreasonable rather than actually analyse what's gone wrong here that so many are upset with the endings.
tried it. Had giant conga line of people jump on and scream "NYAR YOU ARE WRONG" without bothering to discuss. Decided I had better things to do with my time.

The other, unfortunate 25% are some form of--
-"If you liked the ending, you must not have analyzed it enough,"
-"This is clearly a troll/a person not worth listening to," or
-"You must have low expectations."
None of those three responses, or any variant thereof, have any substance or class whatsoever.

To be fair, if they thought it was just ok or pretty good, they wouldnt love it. They'd just kinda like it.

You know why people say you're wrong if you try to justify the ending with logic? Because you are objectively wrong. The end.
You can like it, and nobody's saying otherwise, but it's indefensible.

Props to the OP. I like that about 75% of the responses in here are pretty mature and civil.

I defy you to logically explain the Normandy scene without resorting to assumptions, fallacies and pseudo justifications (e.g. "it's art" or "use your imagination").

And then there's the most substanceless argument of all: "Your opinion is objectively wrong."
Memorize it. Use it. Love it.

It's just a pity we didn't get to see Shepard show the same passion or defiance at the end of ME3.
