WELL if this is POST ending, you already know the answer but if this is prior to the ending, it won't really matter.

Of course it can. Just hurry up and make your sparkly coloured space-magic explosion of 'choice', and everyone actually on their own planet will be saved! Except maybe Earth. That place is ****ed !   

In all seriousness, though, I would like to see some Palaven DLC (IF you 'fix' the ending). I was always disappointed that the mission for recruiting the Turians was so short and to the point. Plus, I'm still not clear what Turian females look like, and would like to know!

I don't know for what intent this is created for, the entertainment value is shot by the current ending. Perhaps a distraction?

Probably another multiplayer thing or something.  They seem real keen on giving lots of perks to MP while totally ignoring the problems plaguing SP.

Honestly its not like Cerberus network where it can drop little hints that might be played out in the next game. ME is over and the news thing is a bit pointless.
