NO seems to be pre game (or early game as Turian hierachy changes)
Not sure what this signals, though I kinda hoped for a bit of after the fact planet missions, maybe get a rescue mission that downed cruiser was something to see would love ta have a chance at it up close or one like it...

Well, Mass Effect 3's story takes place during the Reaper invasion, which means that ANN follows suit. Also, it can't be a post-game feature like CDN because once you finish the campaign it throws you right before the end.
Alas, I see nothing wrong.
Also, Primarch Fedorian is the acting leader of the Turian Hierarchy during a part of the game, so, again, its not a post-game thing or whatever.
As for Taetrus, I'd recommend paying attention to the game. Taetrus has a deep meaning for the Turians due to its history and their people's militaristic spirit. The fact that the Hierarchy failed to protect it in the first place, let alone fail to liberate it was a serious blow to morale, way more than broadcasting corpses and ruins could do.

Posting a news article about an in game event after most people have suffered the crushing disappointment of an inadequate ending is weak. The Facebook page must have millions of likes so no. I don't think 300 is a lot (unless you're a spartan)
