Maybe they are saying the turians are trying to take back their relay is because the relays weren't really destroyed and a lot of people just jumped on the, blown up relays band wagon. Now that being said they sure looked like they were at least going to explode, but that could possibly be a designer making a release of energy look more dramatic

If you're a comic book fan, the "exploding relays" could be Bioware's equivalant to Marvel's Giant Man back handing his wife, when the writer never intended that, but the artist thought it gave the scene more impact.

Wrong. This happened during the game events not after.
Check the Primarch's name and you will know why.

jesus people stop jumping to conclusions. Just because the mass relays were destroyed doesnt mean they acted the same way as when the comet flew into it.

For the >9000th time, this is in-universe fiction that takes place in the early stages of the war. The real-life timeline of events, beginning with the first ANN reports of communications losses with batarian space, corresponds to the in-universe timeline of the Reaper invasion.

Before. Notice the name of the Primarch. Everything happens before the Priority: Palaven mission in-game.
