You know... this is totally the wrong place to post this but after reading the majority of this I have a question.

If it was so hard to get to the citadel from earth.... why not just go to Ilos and redo the "use the backdoor conduit" routine? They already recycled the "Saren killing himself scene". -_-

Even as someone of the RetakeME3 movement, it pisses me off how many people are immediatly jumping to Bioware ignoring us.

People, there's this little thing called backstory that this blog post is addressing, it's set BEFORE Priority: Palaven.

Does the Ilos Conduit still work?

Could be parallel universe..win in one lose in the other, plus time may not exist in real space
so doesn't really matter if take place now or then.Image IPB

The trouble with time started a century ago, when Einstein’s special and general theories of relativity demolished the idea of time as a universal constant. One consequence is that the past, present, and future are not absolutes. Einstein’s theories also opened a rift in physics because the rules of general relativity (which describe gravity and the large-scale structure of the cosmos) seem incompatible with those of quantum physics (which govern the realm of the tiny). Some four decades ago, the renowned physicist John Wheeler, then at Princeton, and the late Bryce DeWitt, then at the University of North Carolina, developed an extraordinary equation that provides a possible framework for unifying relativity and quantum mechanics. But the Wheeler-DeWitt equation has always been controversial, in part because it adds yet another, even more baffling twist to our understanding of time.

They're not that contradictive. Actually, the only real problem is the "present" is no longer an absolute. Future and past still are - past is when there was less entropy, future is when there will be more. That's a fundamental law of physics that neither quantum mechanics nor general relativity even attempts to disprove.

However, "parallel universe" seems entirely trite in a game where Shepard can have two different genders, be born in three different places, have three different notorieties, have... I don't know, 12 different LI's, and make another bunch of different choices depending on what s/he feels like.

Just in case someone hasn't already mentioned this. Primarch Fedorian was the Primarch before Victus, IE, the one that died during the game, IE, this is prior to the ending.

Maybe he's not dead. Maybe he's been ressurected by the Blackwatch who have decided that it's time they run the show on their own terms, and that perhaps the Reapers may be controlled instead of destroyed.

Parallel universe could be a good option to work with, opens up a whole lot of possibility........
especially with Shepard dying in Mass Effect 2 and being brought back, but to which Universe?

O.K. Very far fetched, but hell it's something to consider!!

Agreed, but that may not be the case if the existence of a parallel universe can be incorporated into the game some how  .
Granted it sounds over the top.Image IPB

Who ****ing cares about Palaven? None of your actions/choices matter in the end.

The real questions is: can Mass Effect 3 and BioWare be saved?

Is the news seriously still back on the Palavalen moon mission?
Game is out in all markets now. We should be hearing about the Rannoch situation by now at the least.

I guess our comm bouys are on a considerable lag, considering those relay troubles...

edit:

For serious. ME2's Cerberus news mentioned things only tangentally related to the main plot for this very reason. We ate it the hell up.

Tell us about efforts to retake Illium. Hint at future DLC. Have 'experts' speculate about Reaper motivations. Have Harby hijack the feed. Detail the search for the remains of Emily Wong. Something. Anything.
