Who ****ing cares about Palaven? None of your actions/choices matter in the end.

The real questions is: can Mass Effect 3 and BioWare be saved?

Christ people were whining about the lack of ANN updates, now  you all are ****ing that they're back.
Damned if they do, damned if they dont.

yeah - when people are happy they look for the good.  When they have been face slapped and treated like lemmings for having had faith in a company that promissed so much....  they look for the bad.  We look for justification of hurt feelings and sad, sore disappointment.  There are Galactic plotholes that encompass entire worlds out there.  There are letdowns on a scale of double yoo teeeh ehf that are jaw droppingly amazing - singularities of stupidity that are absolutely mind boggling.

Like so many have said, who cares what choices you made?  None of them matter.  This is what happens when you treat your fans like this and close the book in a fashion that can be nothing other than a helicopter trick in your face while flipping you the bird - and then call it 'art'.  "Ahh yes, we have dismissed that claim."

ME2 had an ending where you could get out of a suicide mission with your whole team alive - every single member.  There was also a way to get it done where pretty much just Joker and EDI made it out.  Thats pretty  much a full spectrum of endings.  But in this iteration of the game......   my choices are completely limited - and all pretty  much railroaded in your face.  They are also all disagreeable in my opinion.  Completely uncool.

I see no reason at all why they had to end it like that - other than to make the point that they do not care what we think one way or the other.

i think the fact that ANN has been down for over a week show how bad that IGN girl was, this would've never happened if Emily Wong was on the stories.

Silly Bioware, why are you asking us? You made the game so you should know that it can't be saved, its doomed.

What was left of Palaven's infra structure after the reaper attack got thrown back into the stone age and the whole planet has been reduced to a bombed burning pile of post apocalyptic rubble cut off of the other systems, left to slowly perish - like the rest of the galaxy.

Its like an even worse version of Berlin after WWII with no international rebuilding help, more dead civilians, closed borders and zero hope. Not exactly what I'd call ''Saved''.

Sounds like you're jumping to conclusions. There is no evidence that the Crucible blast destroyed all technology, including ordinary electronic or mechanical devices.

Do something about the current ending then we can talk about other DLC - otherwise what's the point?

I was looking forward to seeing a Palaven DLC, the concept art was beautiful. I can't even imagine how many marauder shields we'll meet down there.

You people are just... unbelievably spiteful. I'm actually getting to a point where I'm ashamed of being a Mass Effect fan with how stupid this is getting.

Currently anything that is not, "We going to add/rewrite/fix the ending" will be meet with extreme prejudice at this part of the forums.

I guess at this point, they are just following the motions. Since it is part of the PR strategy to put on the forums, they put on the forums and run as fast away as possible from the ensuring storm.

Which way do we take this message, or is the double meaning intentional?

Are you mad at BioWare for continuing to pump urgent stories into a dead universe and you feel that it is getting stupid putting the focus on meaningless details when the ending should be their top priority?

Or are you mad at the fans for not buying into this particular story (whatever it is) and they're being stupid in poo-pooing on good material because there isn't an ending they can accept and/or understand?

Or something else?

I don't know for what intent this is created for, the entertainment value is shot by the current ending. Perhaps a distraction?

Probably another multiplayer thing or something.  They seem real keen on giving lots of perks to MP while totally ignoring the problems plaguing SP.

Sadly, these days I only really care about the multiplayer.  I have kind of given up hope that the main part of the game can be salvaged.
