Fix Archers. My 26 DEX warrior hits more often with a bow than my 36 DEX Archer.

Hmm...
2 cents worth:
- Have a sword spec, so that you can wield normal weapons without a shield or another weapon, or a big weapon.
- Improve Archery
- More quests that are not crucial to the game, but are interesting all the same - DLC will be good / mods - maybe that can fit the current game so that you don't even need to complete the main content if you dont want to.
- a few more different monsters
- Have specialisation in a mage school mean something - otherwise why bother - eg.. if you get to tier 4 you get an extra 2 spellpower whenever you cast a spell from that school. Then why not make it so you get a title - Mastermage or Creation Archmage, and 4 spellpower to that school when all are taken.
agree with - more rogue and mage gear, and another mage- preferrably a male.
more pathfinding, massive battles - in DLC, and also a few single one on ones....
Looking forward to more DLC

I definitely think they will add more armor/gear. With the current DLC you already get the helm of Honnleath, the Blood Mage robes, the Warden Commander set, and more, all of which have unique models. Hopefully this is how they will address the serious lack of visual variety in the standard armors. I think they also focused on heavy armors first since there are so many warrior NPCs and even the mages can become Arcane Warriors.
I think a likely DLC would be Ionar (sp?) the mage prison that Lily is sent off to. She one of the only major origins characters we never see again, and the concept of Ionar is pretty cool. Sending a mage PC plus both Wynne and Morrigan to raid/ransack a prison for mages would be a blast. Adding an origin for apostate mage would also be great. And with either Ionar or a new mage origin, you could add all kinds of new mage gear, especially decent looking hats.

- Improve Archery
There is a mod over at dragonagenexus.com which does a lot to fix archery.
Agreed on many of the above things tho.
-For me, looting is boring, few items of choice for my rogue.
-Alastair (as a warrior) is running around with light/rogue armour because its, frankly, its better. Should be a bit more balanced.
-Armour should be enchantable with runes
-Bosses should have better loot
-Mages have almost no gear whatsoever
-I havent played a mage yet, but from what Ive seen on Morrigan and Wynn, Im sure there should be a bbetter variety of spells (like knock)
-which reminds me, if you dont have a rogue (or he's not skilled enough) aint no one opening those chests
- more cool magical trinkets , or more powerful trinkets, or both
Hmm, I think there were a few other annoyances but I cant think of them right now. Its still a kickin game, but these things could make it even sweeter.

- DLC addons, must be biggers, no so sorts.
- More random encounters, no directed or caused by a mission-> This random encounters should give mission, no contrary.
- Medium armor should be more usefull, perhaps should cause less fatige.
- More equiptment for mage
- Enchanting armor posibility?
- Guild or housing system.
- Crafting habilities with creating objects (or perhaps only to improve)

There are other posts pertaining to the same thing which I've already suggested some ideas, but some new ones have occurred to me, so here goes with some simple requests, and please excuse any duping.
1) In the Char Creator, I would like to be able to us the (') key (single quotation mark) in Elvish names, such as Ker'amyn (just made that up) since many Elvish names display this way in many Elvish name creators. How hard would that be? (Oh yeah, and this is beside the point, but I like how your char's name finds its way into some codex entries -- I wasn't expecting that -- nice touch!)
2) Respawning of monsters. Once you clear an area out, like an underground area of Deep Roads, and then later revisit it for whatever reason, there should be respawned baddies waiting for you. Not the bosses, but something to fight so your revisit isn't so boring.
3) Some of the early mods are catching up to some of the discrepancies in DA:O. I don't know the exact names, but there's a mod that manages the mods you install/uninstall making the process brainless so you don't break something. There's also at least a couple of mods that alter skin tones, eye color, hair color, make Leliana and Morrigan appear as they do in the ad vids, etc. I won't touch any of them yet, since I'm still in my first go-round in the game and don't want to mess anything up at this point. I would like to see OS compatibility statements in the mod descriptions (XP, Vista, Win7), or maybe that doesn't matter. I'm certain Bioware is counting on modders to make certain things better so they can concentrate on bigger things (true expansions, DA:O 2).

#1 suggestion for the next patch would be to take all non-random items, items that there's only one of or only supposed to be one of in game that only drop from one specific target, and make them fixed 100% chance drops. Players shouldn't have to farm sophia or gaxkang to obtain the items they dropped and it's not like they have a loot table full of items of equal value to their unique shields anyway. No one wants 'chainmail tier 7' from a mob that's supposed to drop the end all be all shield of the game.
#2 Update AI to run out of AoE spells and disperse into wider areas when hit with them.
#3 Add friendly fire to more AoE abilities.
