 Oh, I hope this won´t turn into something nasty. Be civil, people, please. No tomatoes. :lol: And good luck, everyone(BW included). :)

Looking at the list of people coming there, I only get one feeling... that when asked about the endings, these guys will respond exactly the way Ray and Casey did and provide no new information.

I hope that's not the case though.

At the base you can find:

  • Minipanels discussing Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Wrath of Heroes and more

  • Members of the Mass Effect team including the writers of the upcoming Dark Horse/Mass Effect comics Patrick Weeks and John Dombrow. Team doing signings

  • Memebers of the Dragon Age team, including Lead Writer and author David Gaider talking about Dragon Age signing his latest novel.

  • Members of the BioWare HR team present to talk to people interested in a job with BioWare and discussing how to get a job in gaming.

  • A display and order kiosk for all the cool items available from the BioWare store and our awesome partners including a NEW weapon from Triforce.

  • Special Guest Holly Conrad and members of the Crabcat team holding a panel on creating costumes

  • A costume parade on Saturday for everyone in Mass Effect or Dragon Age costumes.

  • An art portfolio review by BioWare staff for aspiring artists.

  • Did I mention a ton of swag?

  • And your chance to talk with the BioWare Community team.

Apparently, you will NOT have the chance to:

  • hear about the release of the patch;

  • discuss the endings fiasco and what exactly will be done about it;

  • discuss the game-breaking bugs like the save import failure and face import failure, hear about the reasons for these bugs being there in the first place and not being fixed even after a month since game release;
  • do the above with someone who's actually working on fixing the game, rather than PR ("Community") people who have NOTHING to say.

  • Welcome to the big event, folks.

    John Dombrow is going to be there!? *Fangasm*

    I ADORE his writing! I mean, Project Overlord, the Genophage Arc AND Garrusmance for ME3? I ADORED all these! And you're saying he wrote Javik too!? Our trollin' prothean! Sweet!

    I suppose he's lucky I can't attend PAX. =P

    Overlord was perhaps my favorite DLC across the games.  LotSB was good, but Overlord had a real moral dilemma.   Maybe they could pay him to write the ending...

    And me!  Patrick and John might find the enthusiasm a bit scary.  :o

    As for everyone who's talking about fan rage, I really hope they're wrong.  We can express any dissatisfaction that we might feel in a calm and mature way...  And, for heaven's sake, let's not punish the people who gave us some of the best parts of the whole trilogy, like Patrick and John.

    I'de be gladly surprised if people doesn't throw tomatoes, rotten eggs or cream pies to the Bioware team. In the old days people threw that kind of stuff to directors and actors of bad plays in the theatres.

    Besides, I think we all know about the cake-in-the-face incident Bill Gates had some years ago.

    As I said earlier, I sincerely wish you good luck, Bioware. You're going to need it if you don't refer to the ending fiasco and the horrible bugs the game has (the face import issue, the bug at normandy's bridge, etc).

    Enraged fans is the last thing you need in a conference.

    I hope the fans that get to ask question, ask important ones, rather then silly ones when we had a Q&A at E3.

    Wish I could make it. I have pair of red pants I could wear with a green shirt over a blue thermal. I'd probably look like a Tuatha'an, and I doubt I'd get "moved to the front" like the cosplayers (more likely the opposite), but hopefully at least someone would notice and take the point.

    I just hope no-one is so monumentally stupid and crass to try to "make a statement" in a big destructive way. I sincerely hope instead that good discussion goes down, some solid news comes out and people can actually have fun at the event.

    If just one grade-A dunderhead chucks a cupcake or something, I'd go Renegade Interrupt on them.

    This will be either BioWare rebirth through flames like a majestic phoenix, or the ****storm of the year in BSN and it's downfall.
    Either way, I'll keep up with it.

    YA! A pox on those writers, community managers, and HR people for having nothing to do with bug fixes.

    If there was any time to protest, this is it people.

    If Bioware came to the PAX event in Peru, I sure as hell would make my voice heard there, but it's not going to happen, it's up to those of you who are capable to make your voice heard.

    I'm honestly just waiting for the PAX to create the largest, wide-scale tidal wave of nerd rage this planet has ever seen through bad management choice and writers...it will be glorious, and I'm stocked right up on popcorn.
