To talk to the ME fans right now. You are brave going into the bear cave when he is angry. Look foword to hearing any news though.

I'de be gladly surprised if people doesn't throw tomatoes, rotten eggs or cream pies to the Bioware team. In the old days people threw that kind of stuff to directors and actors of bad plays in the theatres.

Besides, I think we all know about the cake-in-the-face incident Bill Gates had some years ago.

As I said earlier, I sincerely wish you good luck, Bioware. You're going to need it if you don't refer to the ending fiasco and the horrible bugs the game has (the face import issue, the bug at normandy's bridge, etc).

Enraged fans is the last thing you need in a conference.

I'm honestly just waiting for the PAX to create the largest, wide-scale tidal wave of nerd rage this planet has ever seen through bad management choice and writers...it will be glorious, and I'm stocked right up on popcorn.

If I were you, Bioware, I'd go to that event with a gallon of Lysol, water and soap, because the ****storm you're going to receive from fans AND the press (Forbes anyone?) is going to be huge, for saying the least.

Good luck, guys... really. You're going to need it.

You do realise that BioWare will more than likely put more effort into Generals 2, because they won't want to go through what happened, again.

So just wait and see what BioWare does with Generals 2 before you decide to buy it or not

Iron, you know EA as much as I do. Althought I do respect your position, I don't intend to flame, but let me tell you this: C&C was great until Westwood got fired and EA took over. As soon as EA steps in, the content is dumbed down to please the ''larger audience'' (look at C&C4 and tell me its not a failure...), so in my opinion, the game will be the same bullcrap they've been giving us for the last 4-5 years. Bioware gave a lot of money to EA, now it's time to let bioware die and EA will move to a new franchise. Battlefield is now crap, C&C is now crap, ME3 was VERY meh (all those games were AMAZING when the franchise started, but, you know the story, EA messed it up as they usually do).

But I hope you are right. Even if the chances are slim :P TBH they don't care if they mess it up, they can open a new company and start over, EA will buy them again and cash in.

I only care about PAX as long as they have something solid to show and discuss regarding the ending. Otherwise, keep your DLC and announcements for yourself, Bioware.

I really do hope that all will be kept civil and under control. It is one thing to make your voice heard, it is another entirely to have your message considered.

I agree. Violence and irratic behaviour doesn't suit anyone in this matter (or any matter usually).
I just hope for BioWare that they themselves see this as an opportunity to mend to the endings and other issues. If not I am afraid that's the final nail in the coffin for me - I won't buy another game from them. It makes me sad to think along those lines, but 'tis the truth.

Bioware knows what they're doing. Why destroy what they can control? They will not give up their fanbase so easily. If they had half a dozen DLC's planned for ME3, they will sustain a heavy profit loss if those DLC's are not bought. Is servitude not preferable to extinction?

It shut me up at first, too.
My jaw was on the floor, making it difficult to utter a single word, having such great expectations after finishing DA:O.

You know, I feel sorry for the ME team in a way. They must surely realise by now they screwed up but on top of it, they will have to face disgruntled fans in person.

They'd better come up with some good news.

I feel sorry for them all, but mainly because they have given me so much fun over the years. I guess nothing lasts forever and maybe it was all meant to be mostly downhill from the release of DA2. Time will show, but I fear for the future. ME3s endings was strike three for me, and for many others.

Lemme see.....
  • Omit an important character for the lore of the title to hawk it for 10 bucks as day one downloadable content.
  • Release a broken game with a feature that was a main selling point not working .
  • End a game in a nonsensical way in the name of Artistic integrity.
i think that about covers everything ...

You know what would make me completely forget the endings? A Kal'Reegar LI/Squadie and Take Back Palaven DLC.

Just saying, Bioware.

To be fair, Javik was never really as important as we first thought. His presence didn't alter the outcome at all, which in itself is dissapointing. You'd have thought a Prothean would have had a significant role to play.
