I'll not be able to make it to Pax but I would like one question to be asked. If Mass Effect was concieved as a trilogy 7 years ago, why was it left until November of last year to decide how it ended? Ist any wonder that the series' ending made no sense whatsoever when they still hand't worked out what it was going to be until the 11th hour?

That is very much on point. This is what happens, when you wait until the final hour to write your endings. It's idiotic at best, and at worst, its just a bad way to manage your investment.

(Edit: So yeah. Ask about that someone!)

It's so not!  It's artisitc integrity, sir!  You are just too simple minded to comprehend such profound improv.

I say it again: Use the human mic that Occupy invented, with great success.

A mistake as in:
At first starting to create one of the most beautiful paintings of recent history,
then continuing to amaze people with every brush move they make, and then, with everyone observing in awe just which final stroke of the brush they might do,
they take a deep breath,
look at their nearly complete creation,
then suddently, throw the brush away, put the canvas on the floor and p*** on it. :wizard:

This is what a rational mind would call a mistake. Now, some MIGHT disagree...but who's more likely to be in the minority? That is what one might use as a definition of mistake.

have they said that? I mean, ok, we have the extended cut announcement, but why not to address the endings at PAX? Well, just saying it'd be nice to say something about it, even to say "Wait until X June".

They have hired extra security and have placed some of their own staff among the audience for additional support

Anyone know if they have a stream up or something of the sort? Seems like I'll have to wait till things get uploaded.

You'll have to wait for things to be uploaded as there are no streams as far as I can tell.

On another note, I just hope they'll show up in Western North America (or more importantly, Canada) for some event...

I can't believe they spent all that time talking about Garrus and Tali. I'm starting to actually believe the devious PR theories some people have.

Bioware: I think this just says everything.

Someone should say that in response to the ending of Mass 3.

A great prove of artistic integrity. Not allowing critical questions in the first place!

A true artists would defend his artistic vision, no matter what sh*tstorm he faces, he would put up all the arguments against his work and rip them to shreds with a metaphysical explanation of his intentions and what and how his vision gets reflected by his artwork.

BioWare has no artistic integrity, because there is nothing artistic about bad writing in the first place. And chicken out, ignoring criticism and only imposting a conversation about your game with planted drones who only say what you dictated them in a script before, that actually screams that you have not just no artistic -, but no integrity at all.
