Shepard and Anderson are sitting together aboard the crucible both wounded.
The speech between the two of them continues as norma except the you'd make a great dad/mom but changes at the end.
"You did good boy/girl you did good" 
Shepard doesn't answer his/head slumped forward.
"Shepard?" Anderson asks.
Shepard doesn't respond
Anderson looks over at Shepard and then reaches over and closes his/her eyes.
Hacket speaks out over the communications
"There's something wrong. Shepard we need you to activate the Crucible."
Anderson reports in.
"Shepard is dead. I repeat Shepard is Dead."
Hackett Responds
"Then it's up to you to finish what he/she started."
Anderson gets up slowly with a groan and moves to the control panel and activates the Crucible.
The Crucible is seen firing off an energy wave that is shown disabling the Reapers across the galaxy with cuts of Thessia, Palaven, and various Colonies where the reapers have suddenly collapsed and their forces running away {Like the Darkspawn but we know the reaper forces have nowhere to go}

Epilogue shows a Funeral for Shepard with diffrent reactions by diffrent love interests Especially Jack whose being held back by her students while screaming she's going to bring shepard back to live so she can kill him again for leaving her. Anderson giving an speech about Shepard and his/her achievements and praising him/her as a hero who united the galaxy perhaps interspersed with comments by members of the crew/ people like Kirrahe and others leading to the credits.

Epilogue {because you know we need a copout}

an darkened lab area as the camera moves through it
A female voice speaking to Illusive man
Female voice: The Project was a complete success.
Illusive Man: I know, the galaxy believe Shepard and I died on the Crucible.
Female: the Cloning procedure was a complete success sir But I do have a  question sir.
Illusive Man: And What would that be?
Female: What will we do with the Real Commander Shepard
The Camera moves in showing Commander Shepard sitting restrained in a Chair  in a darkened room.
