In the first official campaign, I made the mistake of making a drow cleric of Lolth, chaotic evil... Only to find that the game basically railroads her into being one of the "good guys", at least until the end of the game.
I love playing good characters, or neutral characters, but sometimes it's fun to play an evil character, and that's why i've created one for Storm of Zehir: a halfling ranger/blackguard, and I imagine him as someone who is smart, but also completely insane and sadistic; actually based him off the idea of "What if Belkar was smarter?"
But I'm worried Storm of Zehir will railroad him as well, making him a good guy even though that would be out of character for him. Is this the case?

I played a chaotic evil war priest in the first official campaign, and he managed to come out of it still chaotic evil. I was trying to earn the 'Dreadmaster of the Keep' feat, but either it was never fully implemented or I just wasn't evil enough (the latter seems unlikely though!) He certainly hit his stride in MotB, where he was free to develop his evilness to a whole new level. One of Many adored him.
For some reason Elanee really seemed turned-on by that character. Perhaps the fact that he was so mean to all the other companions made up for how mean he was to her. Whatever the reason, it was the only play-through I've done where she offered herself to the PC (on the Crossroad Keep battlements the night before the big battle). Perhaps she has a thing for bad boys.
