Just finished crowing the new king..Bahlen. Haven't left the city yet. Didn't get involved with Harrowmont. I'll save that for the next run through. The whole scene kind of got on my nerves so much with the bickering and drawf atttitude that I sided with Branka in the anvil of the Void. I noticed Ohgren kept telling her to listen to herself and what she had become ( more dwarf whining ) but he still approved when I let her loose to make me a crown. Got to thinking that the few posts I've read about Branka it appears that most people are killing her off ( and I'm assuming destroying the anvil ). I guess I went with the Grey Warden's first responsibility is to end the blight and the best way to do that would be with Golems. Not sure if I'll actually have / see Golems if and when I need them but eliminating the possibility ( by killing Branka and the anvil ) didn't seem like the way to go. The Dwarves annoyed me so much that I think turning them into Golems is fitting.

You know after reading a lot of posts I make a cack Warden. I'm just too nice and not focused on the goal of pushing back the blight. I want to help people on my way to fighting the blight without getting too involved with politics. I think my next play through I'm going to be totally ruthless and just focus on doing things for Wardens and everything else is secondary. Really when I think about it that's your job. You weren't made a Warden to be nice and solves everyones problems. You were made to decimate the blights efforts to take over at any costs. I'm making a legion of blood mages and the chantry can suck it.

There is no winning in Orz when it comes to a King, as you'll see.

Most seem to destroy the anvil because they see it as a bad thing to trap souls into stone or metal bodies.

I've done it both ways (on my 4th playthrough now), and I personally prefer to destroy the anvil, I feel better about it and I like the way the plot goes.

It's all personal preference really.

@b33ker: what do you mean there's no winning in orzammar? Not sure what's meant by that. I just crowned Harrowmont and it seemed to go fine. I do have questions though:

1) Can't complete all quests? I still have a "Paragon of her age" quest to fulfill for Behlen, even though I've crowned harwmont??

2) "The Dead Caste" quest? I have the token, but the shaper doesn't ask about it, and I have no dialogue option to initiate the discussion?

3) the Ruck quest? I met him, and then when I went back to speak to the mom, Filda, she asked if "I had left yet" - um, yeah? It didn't give me an option to say "Yeah, I ran into him and he was a lunatic eating darkspawn" or anything like that, only an option to say "I couldn't find him"?

4) The demonic head and demonic torso in bags??? What are they for - I assume we need to find some heart somewhere? where?

5) The spirits in the legion crypt? Do you have to equip someone with the legion armor and THEN touch the headstone - it seems to give you only one chance to do that?

1: bug, can't do both

2: use the book in the shaperate

3: sounds like it bugged. did you ask ruck about his mother?

4: missing bag is in aueducan taigh, altar is near the bridge before the spider queen boss

5: full legion of the dead armor and touch the headstone, should still be usable as many times until you do it right

The Gangze spirit appears and attacks you. I don't recall seeing any loot drop from it. You may not have noticed it amongst all the angry legion of the dead spirits you were fighting. It's the only one that doesn't look like a dwarf.
