ME1: Varied team. ALWAYS did final mission with Wrex and Tali.
ME2: Varied team, focus on Miranda, Garrus, Grunt, Tali and Thane. ALWAYS did final mission with Garrus and Tali.
ME3: Varied team, but post-Palaven, 95 percent of all my missions used a combination of Garrus, Javik and Tali. Final mission done with Team Dextro yet again.

lol. all day. Other than that I like to mix it up usually. You know give some playtime to those who don't get much action.

Yup, Garrus rolls with me a lot.

I did manage to mix it up some in ME3 though, still brought him along for most of the important missions. I think the only priority mission I left him out of was Thessia, I decided to bring Javik along since I hadn't used him in a while (or Liara and the thought of rolling with some biotics seemed interesting.) I'm really glad I did because it seemed he tied into that story very well.

But yeah, in ME1 it was always Garrus/Wrex, in ME2 is was either Garrus/Miranda or Garrus/Grunt depending on the character. In ME3 I tried to get some time in with all the squad members. I actually found Vega to be kind of awesome.

I catered my squad to my abilities and the enemies I was facing or expecting to face. I did end up bringing Garrus pretty often for Overload, but it wasn't EVERY time.

With Vanguard Shep they're a pretty efficient team. Garrus makes a hell of a marksman, especially in 2 & 3 and Tali's abilities are mostly defensive, so her combo of drones/shotgun makes her really effective at covering Garrus. Meanwhile you're running about charging and shotgunning everything.

The fact that sniper rifles and shotguns both got buffed pretty hard in ME3 makes them both that much better.

It usually depends which class I choose, unless in the first game..cause that on insanity = full biotic squad.

But in the second game I tried to use, as an adept- singularity+warp as much as possible. and because of that I always tried to have someone with overload with me..or two as both miranda and garrus got overload

But in the third game I always went with Liara and Garrus, never any doubt about it.
