Happened to me, just leveled my character to 20 and promote again to correct it. I did not get my commendation pack because of this though

I got that too which is kinda funny. it all still works but you just have all your skills even at lv 1

my human Soldier and Human Engineer has this which I'm sorta sad because I wish my Turian Soldier god bugged and my Quarian Engineer because I use them lol


well I plan to get them to lv 20 again anyway so it doesnt matter to me all that much. my friend is a little disappointed though. he was looking forward to starting from scratch with his human infiltrator again

what distresses me about this is the tech supports response. Why the hell is it there is not to be tech support ad deal with bugs. Tech support should be linked directly with the devs still working on the game.

Nope and even a Respec card doesnt fix it for the whole class that is effected

I am shocked they are setting us up for a 25% EXP Event and STILL no Bioware reply to this Issue. Are they too busy to even give us a thought? Or are we just not worthy there time over this Issue?

Happened to a few of my promoted characters as well, but went away after a while. Same thing happened for friends.

Happened to some of my characters as well. They had the same name, appearance, weapons, skill distribution as I had never promoted them and negative skill points. Really fun playing lvl1 character with lvl 20 skills. After couple of promoting they returned to normal.
Now I failed to purchase spectre pack and some of my characters have negative skill points, again

Had this occur on my Human Male and Human Female Engineers. Salarian Engineer that I promoted seems unaffected.

Ok, now it is getting really annoying. After promoting the bugged class (i.e. the Infiltrator) everything was just fine, characters were lvl 1 and no skill-points set yet.

Then I quit ME3 and after restarting the game => negative skill points again. (Also the same name as before.)

This definitely has to be fixed! It is really annoying to not be able to reset your character without those respec cards...

Has this happened before? I thought and read that promoting again would solve this, but apparantly...


Edit: plus it seems to have the very "nice" effect of actually ignoring the points you spent for lvl 19 and 20.

They havent even noticed this issue I bet. This page could reach a 50 Page I bet before bioware even gives us one word.

Happened to me once so far, when I promoted a soldier last weekend. I wound up with a glitched male human. I did read here last week that it's not permanent - ie, once you hit 20 in that class again, a second promotion generally works right.

However, spudspot's post above has me a little worried now.

This has happened to me on my last two Eng promotions. First only my male human, now both male and female.
Its annoying because it makes you feel like you aren't working toward anything, but it is fun as hell to go into Gold as a level 1 and have all of your powers.

Anyways, this bug happened to me the other day. Promoted my vanguards, levelled up to 12 and then the game locked up while I was mid-charge. After I loaded it up again, my vanguards had all been reset.

I promoted two characters last weekend for the event, then left town. Came back today, and the Vanguard I promoted is still hanging around with -76 skill points at level 3. Did not get a commendation pack, either. Bump.
