Promoted all 6 classes this morning, ended up with 4 bugged characters.

Well the Xbox gets the Black Screen of Death, The PC gets the screwed up characters and the PS3 gets no chance to participate in the events.

Seems a balanced game for me

Just noticed this this morning after restarting my game after promoting last night...

Both of my old infiltrators (Which I promoted) have re-appeared and the "new" Infiltrator I made last night has vanished... Bioware, you really need to respond to this. I played 2 Bonze games to get it to level 10, and called it a night (Had just unlocked the Widow). I come on this morning to see the Male infiltrator I was playing on had vanished, and the Salarian/Quarian/Human Female which I had been playing with have all got the "Negative points bug". They all have their points spent from yesterday from before I promoted...

I assume this might be to do with something in Operation Raptor maybe? Never encountered it before this weekend...

Happened to me and my friend  We've both lost characters/reset the others to be around... Now I don't know if my 2 promotions for Raptor went through or not... How come they KEEP breaking the game?

It certainly is beneficial but I waited a week with promoting all my characters to level them again, the normal way, maybe picking different powers this time. But no, all I get is negative upgrade points ._.

Noticed this on mine this morning as well.

Affects two characters. One an engineer which I had recreated last night after promoting the class. This morning has all the old level 20 skills I gave her and -60 skill points.

Also my turian sentinel has full powers and -76 skill points. Still even retained the name I had given the old character. Never had re-created it after promoting.

Thanks for the heads up, promoted all 6 last night so will be interested to see if this happens to me...not that it really matters tho I have about 30 respec cards lol and the spector packs thought they were trolling me too tee hee

I guess all I can do is say thanks for letting me know - I will pass this promoting promotion weekend.

it appears to be some kind of rollback bug...

i promoted my vanguard and played to level 14, using phalanx.

then i restarted the game after food, my vanguards are still level 14 but they have the skills, names and equipped weapon that they had when they were level 20 before promotion...

Happened to me this morning when I promoted my Adept and Vanguard. Immediately after promoting I started a new Vanguard, but not an Adept, got the Vanguard up to level 14, then quit the game for a break; after I logged back on, I found all of my old Vanguards ran back from the front lines, murdered the new trainees, and sat around pretending they were lower level, despite having level 20 skills.

However I noticed my Adepts did not come back.

So it would seem that in order to avoid this, you should promote, quit/restart the game, then start up a new character of that class.

I haven't had any major bugs like this, but when I was re-equipping my adepts after promoting them, I noticed the guns appeared completely black when I was installing weapon mods. When I went to re-equip my promoted soldiers, the guns were fine. 360 player, by the way.

I haven't had one of these happen, though I've only done 6 promotions to date. Kind of glad. This game is starting to weird me out though o.O

Happened to me too

Promoted my Infiltrator and another class, startet a new Infiltrator (new name and loadout) and played some matches tonight.

Today after I logged into multiplayer and starte ta match I noticed the different loadout, and after the match my old infiltrators (old names too).

Happened to me to yesterday. Promoted, created a new toon for that class/race and played a map and got to L7 normally. Logged out, came back later and started playing again, when I'm in the map I realize I've got too many powers and the wrong gun, and of course when I go to level I have negative points.I actually wanted to respec so going to re-level this class and promote again for the weekend.

This is a known bug, atleast for me. Though I'm on PC, I experiance the same thing. Hit "Change View" and it should be ok.

My problem was that this morning, after the operation began, I promoted my soldiers and sentinels. Then I "tryed" to buy one Specter Pack and it bugged again. I restarted the game then my infiltrators, except the quarian, were with minus points, though they were level 20 and they didn't have names, appearence and were with the default weapons... When I woke up this morning, I saw them with 83 positive points and 1 point assigned to the Cloak. Go figures.....

Happened to me as well on PC. Promoted my Vanguard class and then when I relogged it caused all my Vanguards characters to have the same color scheme, weapons, and skill assigns that I had before I promoted them, only difference being they are level 1 and have -82 skill points. It did count though since I see it under N7 Ops in single player.

I am on a PC, and I promoted  alot of times and it never happens to me...  I don't level, promote or buy stuff from the store while I am the lobbies either,,,,,
