Do any of you have first hand experience with EDI living after choosing the destroy option?
Videos depicting it could have just switch the red/blue exit scene.
on xbox version i had her get out of the normandy after the bad (red) destroy ending fallowed by garrus who was in my squad on earth.

Yes but cybernetics in Shep's body allow his still-organic brain to remain alive. For example, if Shep has artificial heart, artificial spine of anything like that, destroying cybernetics would kill Shep. Brain can't survive without certain other key organsPorcelynDoll wrote...
There's a chat you have with Edi (non wheel) about cyborgs. EDI says Shep is not one because her/his brain wasn't touch by cybernetics and I think the Cerberus files also state that the brain was whole when Shep was recovered so it never made sense to me the Shep was part of the synthetic race and thus had to die as well. I agree that EDI is technology not an actual synthetic, but I have played 3 twice and haven't seen her emerge from the ship on the planet.
If you have seen her come out on the destroy ending was she in your final squad group? She wasn't in mine and maybe that's why I didn't see her come out.

Did they delete it?! Because that would be very telling...
thats what it looks like, wish someone got a SS lol.
We know what we saw.
Yeah... but unfortunately, it won't mean anything if you bring it up in the future. They also deleted their post about "clarifying the ending", and now many people believe it never existed in the first place.
Very interesting info, though, thanks.

Honestly, the masseffect twitter page comes off as if it's written by an intern. They have had so many deleted/retracted posts. You're better off directing questions to the writers themselves.
I hope it's a paid intern. They take a lot of abuse on Twitter.

I used pretty much Liara and Garrus exclusively, with some EDI thrown in from time to time. I saw Joker, Liara, and Javik (who i hardly ever used)
I don't think it is the squaddie who is most "used" - I believe that the squadmates with the highest relationship are the ones shown coming out from the normandy. This is obviously why the LI inevitably comes out of the normandy in every game. Try a playthrough in which you only EVER talk to two people on the ship, and it will probably show those two people leaving the normandy.

Ya, as soon as I tried to expand on what I meant by how this is a glitch, they went silent and deleted it. WTF
I got no reply after I said:
@[/s]masseffect[/b] What? But its was said that all synthetics will be destroyed. She's synthetic, Then she alive with Joker? That's not a glitch?

Shepard is a cyborg...
The conversation was about transhumans...
Well what is do you think a transhuman is then if not a cyborg? Goggle tells me: In speculative fiction settings with very high technological levels, older Space Opera in particular, transhumans,
meaning people who use cybernetic and/or genetic enhancements to give
themselves capabilities far in excess of those of ordinary humans.
There's a discussion about it in ME forum.rpg.net/showthread.php

I don't believe the "most used squadmate" theory. Every time I've done destroy, it's been Joker, my LI, and Javik. And I only bring Javik on a couple missions. Thessia and maybe one other random mission.
Edit: my squadmates on earth were Kaidan (LI) and Garrus.

Because no way would they make 'Renegade' (and I agree it is the most renegade option in my opinion anyway) lose its biggest consequence. This is like in Fable 2 when the Big Bad kills your dog and you gotta choose whether or not to save him and your family or everyone else instead...
Only not as well done.

Ive always had joker, liara and ashley come out
And I barely used ash, liara being the LI
The only time ive seen edi is synthesis..like everyone else
