It is curious as to how often Javik comes out. I have Garrus and Javik come out, with Garrus being LI. I used Javik a few times, but no where near the amount i used Liara or tali.

I'm failing to see the corelation between Shepard surviving and EDI surviving.

Shepard has a whole boatload of cybernetic implants, but last time I checked, none of those were organs or otherwise essential to his continued existence. There's nothing saying Shepard couldn't survive those going offline. The only thing we do see is Shepard seemingly taking a breath. For all we know, that's all he/she is capable of doing with the implants now defunct.

EDI and the Geth are completely inorganic, take away their hardware and they can't continue existing.

EDI appearing at the end is most likely a glitch. We already have the controversial squadmates who were on earth appearing thing, so there's already precedence for that particular cutscene being off-kilter

or D) Very sloppy editing. The people that did the sequence at the end had no knowledge of the ending, and the variables that are used to determine who comes out does not factor people that were in your squad during the Citadel Beam Run or any EDI/Destroy considerations.

I'd have to see the ME 2 revive sequence again, but isn't Shepherd's entire spine cybernetic? And aren't there things on his/her heart as well? 

You could be right but I'm pretty sure that Shepherd would die if you took the implants offline.

see this is why i dont trust the ending at all "Lots of speculation" isnt a good ending when people speculate about EVERYTHING if it was speculation about some stuff like Who was/is  the catalyst but answered the other billion questions id be fine with that speculation but when you leave no answers it just blurrs everything out of context in to a huge pile of dookie! DOOKIE!!

also the fact shep survives the ending even if its just a small amount of time proves the catalyst could not be trusted and since its the only ending where shep doesnt die he clearly intended to be rid of the problem for good

I just finished the game again some days ago. And I can confirm that this happend aswell, I picked destroy and EDI came out of the ship.
As a sidenote it would also seem that the other crewmembers are you LI aswell as the most used squadmate. Dunno if that's been discussed before though. Last time it was Liara and Garrus for me and this time it was Liara and Javik.

And ofc the little **** is lying. Translucent children should never be trusted, they must be punched and gagged before they have a chance to speak.

My worry isn't EDI, as she isn't reaper tech, but the Geth. As odd as that sounds, I am really pulling for the Geth. I didn't care much for Legion in ME2, but in ME3 everything got flipped and when I saw his fate it pulled on my heart strings and still does going into my eighth playthrough.

Actually she was remember at Cerberus HQ when you find out she was the VI you had to shut down on the moon in me1 and the scientist asked TIM if he was sure about putting reaper tech in her

- Bioware has tweeted that EDI and the geth do not survive destroy
- No one I know of has been able to play destroy and get EDI at the end on video
- Several people have tried killing everyone except EDI to force her to come out of the Normandy after picking destroy. no luck.
- There is a rumor that with 100% readiness and over 5000 ems you get edi after picking destroy. AFAIK that's just a rumor.

EDI and Garrus (my LI) walked out on my destroy/Shep lives ending when I was at around 7k readiness (I was WTFing that too). I'll play that save again and try to tape it on my cell phone to see if it replicates.
