"hide helmet" option (less I missed that)

That's not very subtle Image IPB

We could see how the orcs came about and fight along side Jesus, god and the church....I mean andraste, the maker and the chantry.

Andraste isn't Jesus, she's Joan of Arc.

I would like to see each class get a specialization or talent that allows them to self heal so you don't need a dedicated healer. Like a paladin spec for warriors that let them heal themselves and maybe make bards healers for rogues. I really didn't like having to bring Wynn along all time.

I would just like to have a game that I enjoyed as much as DA:O, whether it is with your old character or a brand new character set in a different time/place.

If we would be continuing the original grey warden's story, then I think it would be neat to have your ending from this game be your origin adventure in the sequel.

For example (and I'm being very vague because this isn't the spoiler forum), if your ending has you going or living anywhere specific, or being in a certain state, or living/traveling with particular companions, or working on a specific task, then you will be doing that at the beginning of the game.

If any original companions would be returning, then the quest you do to recruit them back into your party would differ depending on what they ended up doing in your first game.  I would still want a way to start a brand new character though (with default results from previous game).

Regardless of what the main PC will be, I think it would really be fun to have Shayle as a companion.

I think the game ended in such a way so that what you choose will effect the next sequel, it seems like that to me at least.. :)

Except I want there to be a different kind of Blight. As in there being two Archdemons. I don't want this to be the same Blight like we had in Ferelden. I want a huge one. A different one. This would make the situation more dire than it is. And why not have it take place AFTER the original Dragon Age? As in, a year or two apart, so we can jump into the shoes of our character by transferred save-files from the previous installment. That way, all the decisions that you made back in the original Dragon Age will influence part of the story. I don't want all the stuff we did in the original installment to be all for naught.

Transferring save-files:  Now I don't want the game to be a Mass Effect with swords and all, but I think we deserve a  chance to see what happens to your companions after the 5th. Blight ended. I mean, during the Post-Coronation, weren't you wondering how your companions will treat and view you afterwards? And there are even some companion story-plots that haven't been resolved yet. Leliana? Lohgain? Alistair? Morrigan? Shale? Wynne? Zevran? Doesn't anybody else feel that these characters' stories are not done yet?

Origins: I still want to see some origins in game. I think that BioWare could resort to two origin-types: Continued Origins(as in your previous character(s) hence the save-files transferring) and New Origins(where you start off as a new character from a totally different background). And maybe as your New Origin character, you can meet some of your old companions?

Both Orlais and Tevintar: Now why stop with one country when you can have multiple? While this may come off as wishful thinking, I think it can be done...somehow. Though it would take a lot of writing and story-planning.

More dark themes: Eh, yeah, more creepy themes such as the Broodmothe or Hespith.

Any opinions?

Dude, you're a genious... I love your ideas!<3

If we're forced to make a totally new character in the next Dragon Age and not be able to continue the saga with our old  hero with his fellow companions, I'm gonna cry...

I don't want DA:O, actually.

I'd like Bioware to concentrate on things they're good in, building new worlds is not part of it.

Bioware have been good as long as they used known universes (THE realms, Star Wars) ...

Dragons Age is a game about the presentation of story and so I think in the sequal I would like to see an increased emphasis on story and the encounters which spawn from this story.   Additionally I think the game fits well with a modding community so I think improvements in this side of it would go a long way.

Specifically i would love to see the following features.

1. More cinematics in the midst of battles during exciting scenes, there are several great ones, I would definitly love to see an increase in frequency and perhaps a cool mechanic which would allow players to trigger battle ending cinematics (see Max Payne for example).

2. A wider range of NPC's with personal agendas, goals which can be persued and reflected in the story arcs.  Specifically I would like to see NPC's with built in timed events and a larger focus on relationships between characters.

3. I would love to see Dragons Age 2 have a multiplayer component that allows players to cooperativly play through the story together.

4.  A refined and tested toolset that actually works, I would say the one included with Dragon Age 1 simply doesn't count, its a complete fail.

5. I think the game could do with a larger variety of monsters to fight.

6. I would like to see the next Dragon Age take us into the future of the game world or perhaps into the past so that events from this game can be closely tied to it and I would love to see a continuation of characters made from DA 1 to DA 2 smoothly.

I really like the idea, although I don't think this is going to happen. The way I see it, most of the character epilogues, even the *Happy endings*, pretty much said:  "That is what happened, end of story. You will never ever see him/her again EVER!" A real bloody shame, since I like the girls and boys a lot and would love to see more of them. Maybe future DLC will bring more party interaction.

I suppose part two would take place in a nation far far away from Ferelden, because I simply don't think that it will be possible to take all the things we could have done in part one into consideration for the sequel. At any rate, Dragon Age will keep me busy for many months to come.

If I had to name only one thing I want in a sequel, it would be a female dwarven romance option with an impish, amiable character, pretty much like Imoen, only shorter :). . . and not your sister
Dragon Age is the first game that managed to make female dwarves hawt, the stoneblind fools should take advantage of that, ancestors damn them!

Also, griffon mount for me.

No item scaling for unique drops. If a sword is Tier 7, and legendary in the codex, make it Tier 7 no matter what level I am when I find it. Don't punish me for being low level when I get it.

In fact, PLEASE get rid of scaling altogether. Hate it :( but mostly item scaling.

1 Cities that are actually cities ,read as it was in nwn or bg when you could actually go in every possible house and loot it, we love to do it ,not just drawn cities taken from generic jrpg when you cant do much beside simple restocking and few npc etc, like we have now in this game.
2 whats a point of useless villages like heaven/honleath after doing quest place is empty and useless, such a waste...
3 more designs for armor , clothes and weapons thats obviously lazy part of devs
even old games have more of that
4 less lame quest like 2 second part of shale quest wich was basically another waste of nice area
5 joinable npc that are exclusive for your play , i am not too keen on having them all, of course i don't have to but.. come on where is that part when they hated each other and didn't like to be together
6 classes need complete rebuilding and reworking ,no 2 specializations and no they are not done well, another lazy job
7 factions , come on we love to be on one side or the other i know i am grey warden- meh
so boring and plain couldn't that be done other way?
8 fighting demons darkspawns so boring , how about fighting opposing humans
like we have countries and join one or the other, we have then few joinable npc on one side few on other , that's a choice not some minor bs to kill kid or not to kill which doesn't have that much effect at all
anyway
8 time based events to save one village or to save other but not both ,why not?

1) More Life (The world feels empty)

2) Ability to kill anyone I want anytime (it a RPG...if I want to be a psycho or a Inquisitor that kills every evil NPC on sight let me do it)

3) 6 party members and a real death feature (maybe make a difficulty?)

I am with you on that one...but it like if there is nothing to do...we keep screaming at DEV since Oblivion that we HATE level scalling ...but they still put it...no matter what...are they deef?

I would like to see a real military campaign against the dark spawn. It was a major let down having spent 90% of the game gathering allies that did absolutely nothing to fight in a single battle that was over far too quickly and featured few combatants.

I want to see consequences for not moving fast enough or watching out for companions, and more importantly I would like to see my choices possibly come back and bite me on my rear when I am least expecting it.

6 characters in the group.

you know, i think 5 characters would have been nice, since it was the classic limit, and there are many times i thought "man if i oculd just bring so and so along too"

also, show me antiva, show me orlais, and wherever the qunari are from. show me the avvars and the other barbarian peoples, let me play as these different people (i would love to play a qunari)

and also the classic request for better armor designs( leather and robes really sucked, but i got over it :P)

i think the first great was a great door open for bioware, they created this great world, with a rich wonderful history/story
and i would love for them to run with it, have fun with it, and expand upon it. show us all these great places and peoples you told us about int he first game, let us play and experience them =]

What would I like to see ... here is a few but relatively minor.

1. An improvement in movement for females and more feminine style gear for such.

2. Larger variety of styles for hair style and morphs to really create a one of a kind character.

3. A huge array of armor and weapons styles.

4. I think it would be awesome if it were a multi-player where you were able to play with a few friends but NOT an actual MMO where it gets hugely consumed with Guilds and Ranters.

5. I would like to see a voice actor for the Hero (yourself) when replying so it feels more realistic when you select your reply and get audio responses.

1) More Quinari stuff. Sure, Sten and the written doc was cool, but actual interaction with this race would be more interesting since, unlike dwarves and elves, we haven't seen them before.

2) Create some Cross-class Specializations. I don't see why a rouge couldn't learn templar anti-magic, or a warrior can't learn to sing. With everything so limited between each class, I felt that my ability to customize my fighting choices was a bit weak.

3) Bring the Mabari, Shale and Morrigan back. Those three were hilarious. I really loved the creativity put into the interactions involving the dog, but I think there could have been more of them and the addition a character quest for it might have been fun.

4) More "animals" to fight against and interact with. Bears, wolves and Giant Spiders just weren't enough to make it seem like the world was alive outside the towns. The deer and nug models don't even count since none of them move. Come on, get crazy creative here not just bringing in more giant bugs. I want to be fighting a giant, hairy, four-eyed, acid belching porkypine / mole thing in the Deep roads next time or be attacked by a ten foot tall monkey / bat while running through a forest at night.

5) Add a playable race we don't see often. I'm sorry, but elves and dwarves have been around since the dawn of time and it would be nice if I could play as something else once in a while. Next time, add a playable race or two we don't know in and out. The Quinari is a good one or perhaps a Werewolf (I would LOVE to play as one of those). If you insist on other myths, at least add one that isn't totally a human with pointy or a hight problem as it's only feature to stand out. Humanoid is good but another variation of elf or dwarf ("dark elf"or otherwise) and I might get upset.

6) More origins per race. Especially humans. Being a noble or mage, just wasn't enough.

7) More side quests involving teammates. I don't now how to explain it, but interaction amoung teammates limited to conversations and gift for a single five minute quest seems a bit dry. mini hidden storyline arcs for each character would feel a bit deeper since you actually have to work for it.

8) I want more funny ironic twist situations. For example, a legendary singing sword that literally sings...and badly. A kind childishly naive demon joins your party. A curse that tempterarily swaps the bodies of the characters and you're the Mabari and it's you. ect.
