Every time I hit start new game I get the error unable to load module.

I have
tried deleting the single player module, I have also tried creating a
new modul but these solutions do not seem to work for me any one else
have any ideas, I have done every thing short of reformating my computer, as I believe it was caused by trying to edit an item in the tool set

I really want to play this game on the computer, and this issue is stopping me from doing any thing as no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall the issue is still there.

I have this same problem! I can't create a new game and I can't use my previous games(because I'm stuck at that location and I can't change my party)! I also reinstalled my game(HUGE pain because my internet is RIDICULOUSLY slow so re-downloading my content to the game SUCKS), but still no luck!

I finally got mine working again. Here's what I did.
I went to My Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age > Modules > Single Player. Among the many folders there, there was a random .nss file. I deleted it and now my game is working. Of course...I think my error was occurring because I used the toolset incorrectly(tried to modify an item as well). Find the file and delete it! I hope this helps! XP

1. Do NOT dig up year-old-plus dead threads. If you cannot find a current thread that is actually pertinent, do not quote any thread at all, start your own.

2. Please don't waste forum space with any comment that contains zero useful information:

Having members creating new threads instead of posting in old threads is
one of the dumbest policies that I've seen on a support forum.

I thought the whole idea of this new forum was to allow us to post in old threads instead of creating new one?

There's old, older, and then there's worm-food.  Year-old crap is just crap  after that long.

Old threads with no solution (because there ARE solutions- see the solutions round-up thread. It is pinned to the top of this forum for a reason) are not remotely useful. There are no answers here. There are answers elsewhere and there are posting instructions for a reason (that were pinned to the top of the forum by the folks running the forum, so one would assume they know their purpose; particularly since there is a similar post in every tech forum on the site).

Posting "ME TOO!" in a thread with no answer and without providing necessary information for someone to help you becomes very frustrating to the handful of people who come to this forum to help people. We cannot help you with no data provided and there are too few of us with too little time to want to spend it pointing people to the posting guidelines and pinned solutions threads.

Some of these old threads have good info in them, and they're not all pinned.  They're not all pinned and they never will be.  Yes, the members need to skim through what's stickied to the top of the forum, and they need to search before they post.  Yes, members need to post their specs.  They can post them in the thread that's already open related to the subject, though.

Telling members to create and bury threads in a cluster **** of redundant material makes no sense.  What matters is the relevancy of the subject matter concerning the technical issue, not how old the thread is.  Only on a gaming site have I seen such a backward policy.

I'm sure nothing I've said will change anything, however, I've said my piece.
