I haven't played the Dragon Age games for a long time, but I'm doing a playthrough right now that I'd like to be my DA canon. I've read that there are import bugs in DAII if you've completed Witch Hunt and Awakening, but how bad are those bugs? Have they been fixed by the newest patch? Do they affect game play so much that it's better not to play the DLCs/Awakening because of the bugs?

Now Bioware's saying that DA3 will correct all import bugs, so does this mean that I should play everything and just accept that there's some bugginess in DAII, knowing that it'll shape the entire history going forward?
